Most prejudices begin by learning it from our parents or someone whom we respect and look up to. Perhaps they experienced a moment in their life where they had someone of a different color, race, religion, etc treat them badly. Rather than just blame the person who actually caused them the trauma, they began thinking all people of that color, race, religion are the same. (Stereotyping) When it comes to teaching you they pass on that same prejudice to you as well. "Be wary of those who don't look like you, or act like you." First impressions are an important factor as well. If you take the first time you met someone who appears different from you and it was a bad experience for whatever reason, that stays with you and it can help to create a prejudice. Even more so when the experience was a violent one. Add in another bad experience with a different person of color and that reinforces the first belief. If enough instances happen ending with a bad experience, that can also turn into a prejudice. Factor in that (especially in the US.) many schools don't have mixed races to learn from, most here in the US are typically filled with white students and maybe sprinkled in is a family of a different race, or color. In bigger cities there is a higher rate of exposure but it's not always a guarantee. By the time I reached Junior year of high school, I had not seen anyone of a different color in my school. During my Junior year, we actually had three foreign exchange students added to our class. Two were from Holland and one was from the Philippines. Fortunately they knew English and so we could communicate. (The only classes offered from the school for learning another's language was French and Spanish.) This was of course before the internet became a thing. Computers were used mostly for 8bit games and finding information back then. History itself can also form prejudices. Soldiers fighting battles or family members who lost their loved one's life in a different country, or those who return but suffer traumatic episodes could influence how others perceive those of a different race, even of that country. That is why it is so important to approach people in a kind manner. Yours could be their first impression of you, your race, your sex, your religion. By giving them a good experience you leave a lasting impression. Love and Light!! :)

I think Asian men look good and never really thought about the way some people think of them. Until I started following BTS I was not aware what some people thought of Asian's this way. I hope this changes.

I personally look at a persons personality. I love the looks of asian men, but have found extremely handsome men in every race. A persons heart is more important to me, along with mutual respect. Respect is a biggie for me. I wont tolerate disrespect from anyone. I was blessed enough to have a beautiful husband that loved and adored me as much as i did him. Was he asian? No, he was native american. We had our disagreements , but then after we calmed down we would sit and talk about it and tryly listen to the other side. Our children and friends all said they wanted a marriage like ours. My children have dated other races as have I. The race doesnt matter, the heart does.

First of all, as I said many times before, I think it must be regulated that you have to sign photos and films that are not true even we have and get a massive problem with all the AI things. I don’t trust anything now til it’s confirmed… I’m living in Europe and yes you find racism everywhere that is sad for me. I always tried to check out people about their characters and behaviour and not their skin colour and I taught my kid that too. REAL Question ... I know humans being on social media see hurtful things all day every day. Keyboard Warriors are the new norm right? They didn't try to get out of it or dodge it. And yes, I do believe that a celebrity status should not exempt them from taking accountability in any areas of life, and that their serving has maybe put a big dent in the Korean music's cash flow. There is a financial impact on the artists, labels, and staff. And knowing the guys a bit you know they took that into consideration. They absolutely adore & cherish their staff & band. I’m sure it pains them to think of everyone not working with them. This is a long “vacation”. But do we not think that when they do get a chance to pop online and they see all this shit, that it's not extra hurtful to them? Under the circumstances of why they are inactive right now, should the world not treat them with more respect even if they may not be everyone's cup of tea? if physical attraction is not a factor into who you are dating plus there's also a certain attributes characteristics features attitudes and beliefs also experiences like personal experiences life experiences some people are biased and there's nothing wrong with that if someone doesn't want to date someone of a certain ethnic background i don't have a problem with that but the blue eyes analogy was very poor considering it's a very rare eye colour and it is a genetic mutation that being said if physical attraction is not a factor than there is absolutely no reason to say that that is racist without understanding of human psychology and how that works in our relationships because an aspect of human psychology is physical attraction and if you're not physically attractedto the person whom you are dating the blue eyes analogy it just doesn't work like that because it's sort of like saying you have to be focused on personality and personality alone in order to not being racist in the eyes of everyone else around you whereas behind the scenes are absolutely miserable because you are basically forced to love someone else do not look racist people have certain preferences and are certain things i don't see anything wrong with that people have certain perceptions and stereotypes and stigmas toward other people but i wouldn't say that that's racism sometimes it's deeper than surface level and we should be looking at people as human beings irregardless of what they say or do because sometimes those life experiences have scars and damage that we cannot see because they don't put that out there because it is painful to put out there so let's not be so judgmental when people have a certain preference in terms of their relationships because maybe there is some sort of dark paths that has scarred them that has traumatized them that has hurt them to the point where that's not something that they're gonna bring you up if they have a certain preference for something we should just respect that and move on with our own lives it's not that deep
