For those wondering STOCK in these trucks are 6.5" Round in the front and mine is the extra cab so the backs are 5x7 but the bigger 6x8" fit right in without any drilling just bolt right in. i love that lil amp! and the headlight swap brought me here!! as mine are still stock i ordered from Ford back in late 96 so i got the last of the 5.8L 351w in the F150 before the smaller 97's came out.

fuck yea nickelback! speakers sound great! and cant wait for the axle swap, my truck came stock with a straight axle which i guess isnt common from what i hear. and thanks to your videos help on the 4 inch lift ill be able to get mine installed easier, even though yours is a bit of a different body style underneath theres quite a bit alike mine

YEAH BUDDY... solid axle time. You got a balljoint or kingpin 60? I put a balljoint 60 under my truck with some new parts and havent had any problems for years now, even with the big lift. I'll try to post a walkaround video of my truck soon for you to see. Your truck is coming along nice. Yeah cameras never do audio systems justice, lol.

Shouldn't you have checked before you order the speakers?? My speakers were fine, but old, but the player faceplate quit working correctly, so I had Audio Express in Vegas install the new deck, Not only did they "OVER CHARGE ME" but they blew my speakers thinking I would spend another $1,000. bucks to have them install new speakers!! NOT!! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!! I saw that when I looked up the size to fit my 4X4 1997 F350 Crew Cab 2 places said they were 4- 6x8 speakers and then 2 places said that they were 2 "Round 6-1/2" in front and 2 6x8" in rear... So before I ordered them, I went and took one front door off and one rear speaker out and measured them... I just got the speakers in and the FORD wire harness's, and the only thing I need to know is, (is the white wire HOT or is the BLACK wire HOT???) In a house the Black wire is HOT and the white wire is Neutral and Green wire is Ground... I always thought "RED" wires were HOT in cars... When did all this Change?? Anyways, Are you sure that the clip side is HOT?? As that would make the White wire Hot... I think I will post a video on my install and to see how these Cerwin Vegas 3-way speakers will fit and sound... I'm not interested in having a "Rattle Box" Vehicle so I don't need any Amp... I just want "Clear and precise Music"!!

Hey man I have a 95 f250 I just bought and the front speakers aren't working. The back ones do but the front dont. I checked the settings on aftermarket radio, and put a voltmeter to speaker and its not getting juice. Any pointers?
