JLB was my first Hobby grade RC car also. And I must say you have done a fantastic job with the up keeping of it. I ended up selling both of mine and went to Arrma for the reason getting parts was a lot EZ to get and it is a lot tuffer. But again fantastic job.

NIce Video and well explained. I found that the Glitching in the electronics is from the Servo not being able to handle the voltage in the electronic system. The moment I changed the servo to a better after market servo, the glitching stopped. I have a video on how to diagnose the electronics and it show the whole glitching symptoms before and after changing the servos.

Great video, I've had my cheetah j3 for about a month. I managed to get it out for 3 runs...on the 3rd run, today, it broke! The gear box cover broke, the screw thread that held the spoiler mount snapped! So I'm in the process of ordering a new gear box cover! But after watching this I'll be using the zip ties, great idea from spreading the load 👍🏽.

@@soumiksaha720 hi. To get closer to the speed advertised you need a 4s battery (4 cell) around 50c discharge or higher. The car comes with a free 3s battery hence why its slow out of the box.

Hi sir, txs for sharing your video, i always wanted to change tyres for bigger ones on my cheetah but are you mentioning that you need to put 'thread lock' for those big wheels ? to make sure it doesn't come off ? or just a good tight is enough ? txs heaps.
@inspiredrc
@inspiredrc 3 жыл бұрын
Thx for watching. Its completely upto you. You can either put thread lock on and be done with it. Or check the nuts before every bash. Once I used thread lock I didn't have any issues with nuts comming loose. If you can its well worth doing and it is a must have item for your rc tool kit.👍🙂

Was thinking of buying JLB body posts to convert one of my buggies to a truck body. How are the body posts, are they flexible and any issues with them at all? Would be awesome if you could measure screw hole to screw hole distance (the 2 attachment points), and the distance between left and right body posts (i think front and rear have different spacing). Thank you!
@inspiredrc
@inspiredrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes they have been good for me. They are flexible. The front post are approx 72mm apart and the rear post are approx 40mm apart. Where the attach to the shock towers the screw holes are both 20mm apart front and rear. Hope this helps.

I replaced the washers with the a proper spring about a year ago. Undoing the nut was a NIGTHMARE, imposible without a vice. I think the spring came from a Bison, perfect fit. Worked as intendet for 9 months, then all of the sudden the clutch started to spinover. Somehow the nut got lose. Tryed to tighten it but it didnt hold, so i used Locktite. Worked as intendet until i started to hear a ratling/grinding sound coming from the spurgear. Took it out and the shaft was BEND, the spurgear was grinding against the aluminum bottom. Replaced the Spurgear with a new one, without installing the spring. Works like a charm.

J3 or cheetah 120A? Which do you feel is a better buy
@inspiredrc
@inspiredrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hi 👋 I think these are the same inside. I only have experience with the j3. Its been good for me as long as you do the free mods. If your looking at the extreme version then it looks more durable with a wider chassis plate and a stronger front bumper but i would get rid of the single wheelie bar and put a wider twin wheelie bar on and l I like the heavy duty wheels it comes with. No need to change them. I hope this helps 🙂.

Inspired RC it’s easy. Make shore throttle trim is centered. Good that little button on esc down till it flashes. Then let go have neutral position then press it agin Full throttle press it agin Full reverse press it agin. Turn it off. Jobs a good en lol. While your messing about with the esc. I’d program it to. Turn your lipo cut off up. It’s set at factory to 3,0. That’s dangerously low. Go below 3.0 and it will kill your battery. I put mine to 3,4, good video keep it up buddy. Sub 👍🏻
