Yeah, my 120A cheetah gets hot on 3s, so I know 4s would torch the motor if I ran it very long.

Vas, I think you've had more luck with yours than I've had with mine. I bent the shock tower bolts that hold the shocks. I bent at least 1 or 2 of the drive shafts. Because of the wheelie bar connected to the rear shock tower, I found that I bent inwards the rear shock tower somewhat by landing on the wheelie bar first, to the point where the body lugs didn't match up the holes in the body any more. I fixed this by I inserting a threaded rod to stop the shock towers bending inwards for added strength and I changed the shock oil to 3000Cst to handle the jumps. I changed the shock bolts on the shock towers to another high tensile bolt and I still managed to bend them. (oh well) The front plastic bumper keeps coming out from underneath the front section of the chassis. The other day whilst bashing without jumping, my rear diff failed and I was left with only front wheel drive. Front wheel drive wasn't enough to keep this thing moving, surprisingly. All this on 3S by the way. And finally, I cut out my own knobbies with a dremel tool on the original stock tyres (best thing I ever did and most improved feature) and improved the grip dramatically. Changed the steering servo to complement as well. Unfortunately for me, something always goes wrong when I take this car out for a bash. Once I replace the rear diff, I'll put the new wheelie bar and front bumper on it and it's off to the market place for someone else to enjoy. This is just my experience. This thing has a metal plate underneath it and it still makes no difference. I still love the car. It looks cool, it looks beefy and it looks like it means business, but for me it's just not durable. I'm going to save up for an Arrma Kraton at this stage.

I bought a package deal of a J3Speed and a Cheetah first gen and both shock absorbers do not do anything......is that normal? The suspension is just bouncy....

I upgraded to a motor rated for 4s and also a 120a esc waiting for my 4s tk come in

very nice. I was thinking about getting a 4s battery but no need really, it goes fast enough for me. Maybe just a 3s 5000 mah for more run time? I was thinking about a heat sink for this thing, can you recommend a good one?

Hi. Looking for some advice for a newbie. I'm really confused at the moment and need help, from anyone listening. I've been looking at getting my first RTR and narrowed to the Vkar bison, cheetah and dhk zombie. And so far been recommended all three by different people. Just wanting best driving, durability, speed and fun! What would you recommend?
