Jamilah’s Garden souls food is scrumptious. The first time I went driving from New Jersey on a Saturday afternoon the line was 11/2 hour long. We left and tried again on a Wednesday morning during opening. That was the perfect time to placed our order. Wait time was around 35 minutes. I purchased the fish platter with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and jams. Also, I ordered a beef rib sandwich. My son had he barbecued fried chicken platter. All platter’s came with a large piece of cornbread. I enjoyed he food and it was worth the trip. Planning on going back soon. The best Soul food on the planet ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I drove to Jamillah’s Garden based on Jupiter’s review. I was a little skeptical because we all know he has failed us a time or 2….but this place he was on point! He set the tone and expectation for no dine in option to the “you not getting my cornbread’😂 I tried everything on menu including the turkey wings and was not disappointed. ☹️ I listened to the customers coming in and no one complained about anything not even the wait time. The staff was patient and there wasn’t any chaotic noise from the kitchen. Well worth the wait and drive.

JL, I am originally from Philly and I always watch your videos about Philly eateries. Over the holidays, I was anxious to try Jamillah's. My family and I spent over $80 and the food was not worth it at all. The greens had no flavor and the ribs were tough. I did like the Mac and cheese and the cornbread was excellent. They were disappointed to say the least. I'll still give your recommended restaurants a try when I'm back in town. Thanks for all you do!!!
