this code is triggered by few things, first the oil control solenoid valve (vct) which is on the rh sive of engine, camshaft position sensors, vvt actuator which is the same as timing gear sprocket, check oil control valve first (vct) you can clean it and may be it works, then check camshaft posion sensors, now if you hear a rattle when you turn on your car the the vvt actuator is bad n that is why you getting p1009 n to fix it you have to do the timing chain too since you have to open the timing chain cover, best of luck.

@@JM-AUTO thanks, yeah I saw a decent instructional video how to do that,looks semi difficult but doable but definitely not worth my time/money as it's got about 190k and I've put enough parts/money/time and every fuckin cuss word into it since 2018 when I 1st bought it w/about 110k on it!!😁🤣🤣hopefully a VVT solenoid will clear the code long enough for me to sell it for at least $1k!!!SMMFH it does make that rattle when starting but not currently and not often and I really have to strain to hear it so imma just buy an aftermarket VVT solenoid because no way I'm paying over $100 for honda OEM again,done that enough ya know brotha??anyways thanks for the advice, great channel 💯👍😁 take care and God bless

gracias por visitar este su canal, chekee los componentes sospechosos con datos en vivo y tambien la valvula de aceite, si la luz se va y viene osea intermitente, normalmente es la computadora del carro, y sino checar cables primero d valvula d aceite y del camshaft sensor para determinar si el problema es electrico o mecanico.

y recuerde q el scanner nunca pide reemplazar un componente sino le da pistas por donde empezar pero para eso estan las pruebas antes d remplzar algo, espero esto le ayude.

@@JM-AUTO amigo tengo un problema con mi k24z7 2013 despues de las 5500rpm cuando deberia de entrar vtc a veces activa y a veces no y cuando llega activar me falla me tira misfire en los 4 cilindro y se sienta olor a pura gasolina cruda y parpadea el check me paro y lo apago y lo enciendo y el carro esta normal solo es cuando llega activar el vtc

chekee la valvula d aceite talvez este sucia o defectuosa, mayormente este es el problema cuando tienes estos codigo

ola Amigo, si cambio el solenod y oil pressure switch entonces lo mas problable es q sea el vtc actuator el del problema, si no tiene codigos d tiempo, entonces chekee el vtc actuator con las repectivas pruevas antes d reempazar cuaquier parte, gracias por su visita a este su canal.

@@toanptqd both Cam Shaft Position Sensor and Angle Sensor were replaced however now when cranking engine, it starts fine then immediately says VSA & Check System. OBD says P0341 again. I have made a warranty claim on the camshaft position sensor and will test wiring harness for continuity and whether canshaft position sensor is magnetic with a wrench when ignition is on before I refit it. If I don't fix this, fuel consumption remains high and cruise control won't work!

@@toanptqd Issue fixed with a replacement Cam Shaft Sensor A. Tested wiring harness and confirmed ground, 12V and ECU all working. Tested camshaft sensor with ignition on with a wrench and magnetized as expected. Installed into vehicle and cranked successfully. No more P0341 and engine performance is better than before it seems!

thanks for the visit, if you have or get a timing light, there is a timing pointer next to the crankshaft pulley put the engine on time and make a mark if the one in the crankshaft is not that visible, turn on the engine, keep timing light steady on the mark you made same direction of the timing pointer, if the light bounces back and forth if it is not steady then you have timing chain problem. also sensors from online are not that good.

hi, in that case you have to follow the wire to the pcm, you might have resistence at certain point or poor connection or bad pcm or you have to update the pcm.

are you getting 12v on wire number 3? if this is the case then that is fine but on wire num 2 you get 5v if not then there is resintance somewhere.
