RefGuess is back! In this season, a select few Jomboy Media office members compete to gain points by guessing players based only on their Baseball Reference stat page. Each one guessed correctly is worth one point. If the player guesses all three correctly they advance to the trivia round. Guessing the trivia question correctly is worth two points for a grand total of five possible points per episode. The most points at the end of the season wins bragging rights and a The RefGuess Trophy.

Man Ryan is such a positive dude. I completely agree Ryan. Ref Guess is fun. At first I thought number 3 was Elvis Andrus. But I’m like he was on Texas for longer than that and has way more hits than that. Then I was like oh shit this is the guy because I spent so much time using his rookie card to achieve a goal in MLB The Show 17.

I will always remember Will Smith on the Brewers because there was a game in 2016 at Turner Field where he was ejected for a foreign substance. Him being from the area, his family was in the crowd, and the camera cut to them being pretty upset about the whole thing. So I will always remember that.

5:14 Unfortunately Max couldnt be more right and it's depressing. Im a Jays fan and that 2021 with Semien was for sure the best iteration of this Vlad/Bo core (which may legit be coming to end soon) and we didn't even make the playoffs. I still remember Washington blowing that 5-run lead against Boston on the last day of the season, if they held the lead we would've been in😢 Then of course 2022 and 2023 were wildcard appearances with amazing chokes

I got 3/4, the only reason I got the 3rd one was because I use him in MLBtheShow24 and he can play almost every position and I remember him being a top prospect resulting in him coming up at 19, I had no clue he played for those teams.

Same, for whatever reason I have that nugget in my brain that Will Smith was a starter when he first came up and I got that one immediately when I saw Royals starter turned reliever. Being a Rangers fan, the first 3 are a cakewalk as well. We hate Cole, love Semien, always root for Profar, and glad Will Smith lost the closing job last year😂

This was a good episode. I liked the gimmick of blocking out the 2020's. The only one i knew before someone in the video guessed it was Cole. I guess the early 2010s are a blank spot for me. The mariners were terrible, but not terrible enough to not watch them. Just terrible enough to not watch the rest of the league (It would have invoked jealousy)
