No words to describe how good Matip is, always so secure when he plays. Truly one of the best defenders out there, just doesn't have the marketing other players have probably cause he has a withdrawn personality.

I would say it's mainly to do with aesthetics. Many people when they first see him think 'Bambi on ice' and assume he can't play. Similar was also true with Sahko to an extent.
