So amazing. The courage to sing this florid music, including a ringing high Eb, is inspiring in itself, but the beauty of tone was still there so late in career. Thank you so much for posting this...I am grateful, because I wouldn't have ever heard it otherwise,

For 1986 this was AMAZING!!!! Especially her Spargi with the Eb!! At 60 she defies her age!! And after God knows how many Ebs in her career!!!❤

Thank you for sharing these concerts!!! Dame Joan was indeed in FINE form in the 80's. Truly impressive and a joy to hear. The reception she received at the end of the mad scene of Lucia was only half of what she deserved! A true gem of a voice, and Lady. Brava~

This concert must have taken place in the 1980s since Dame Joan retired in 1990.
