In this message, Pastor Kevin points out that Job 38:1 is the first time that God has spoken to Job in the entire story about his suffering. For thirty-seven chapters Job, along with his friends, have wrestled with Job’s “why” questions about his suffering. As we open chapter 38, we see God speaking for the first time. What God says and points to is not what Job, or we, would have anticipated, yet it is exactly what we need to hear as we struggle with our “why” questions during the time of suffering.
