Thanks for making these videos. Just moved the one I inherited from the garage to the darkroom. The manual only helps so far; pictures/videos are way more useful for me.

I bought one many years ago without using it. The reason is the speed of rotation was very slow it was suggested that this was the motor. Now someone has suggested that it only turns 1.3 times a second is this slower than the CPE2?

No idea how fast it rotated. But it was about the same as a CPE.

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a CPA2 for my 120 color film processing. There are no good labs in my area, I've developed my own b&w film but consistency is difficult doing it by hand. Do you recommend for 120 film? Or is there a viable alternative?

I don't know why he never replied, but yes, this is a great option for 120, 220, 35mm, 4x5, and 8x10. I use it for everything. it is amazing.

Sorry, I didn't see your question. Actually it's a really nice piece of equipment. Hefty priced thought. I sold mine as I stumbled over the smaller CPE, which is more than enough for 120 film. I also develop 4x5 with it. Which workes really fine. The lift is nice, but really not necessary. I hope at least someone else can pull out some value out of my late response...

For sure you can contact Jobo for service: www.jobo.com/anschrift But I guess it's chapter to find someone with electronics know how. Maybe in a maker lab in your area? Or try to ask an electronic student. Pretty sure they want to earn some pennies.. 😉
