I'm 30 now, I remember being in 6th and 7th grade (11-12 years old) seeing kids who smoked weed / cigarettes and drank all the time. That was sort of the focal point of their personality.

Been weed with tabaco leaf since I was twelve but I’ve always been healthy and a boxer. I’ve always been able to run forever and sparr for rounds with good energy but it is absolutely nothing compared to my performance when I stopped smoking. It was like I was superhuman. I didn’t cramp up, I barely sweat so I started wearing layers in the summer just to get drenched. Got to the point I needed to be quiet on the heavy and speed bag because it got so loud no one could speak. Can’t even imagine what I’d be like if I never smoked at all. But people get the idea that because they’re somewhat in shape that they’re healthy. If you’re a smoker of anything regardless you are not healthy. Or as healthy as you could be.

I have lives my life completely sober. I experienced 4 years of homelessness as an unsheltered teen. Went through several layoffs as an uneducated oil worker. Made it through the 2008 financial crisis. Survived Iraq as an Infantryman. Made it through all of the mortars and minefields. Homelessness again, post military. More shit than any one individual (IMO) should have to experience. Living sober… hard for me to recommend it.

When I was a kid everybody was getting high, cigarettes were a second to weed, a lotta school days starting with getting stoned, wrecked, a few like their booze instead but most everyone would take a couple tokes before going to in to classes

Shit I remember smoking weed using a coke can with my friends when we're 14 just laughing and having a good time. Even still it was nothing compared to what other kids we went to school with were doing.

yea the kids i went to elementary didnt talk about weed ever/ We were all against it. my cousins got me into it and they were from other schools. Nv really became normal in my high school. Most kids probably tried it sophmore yr - senior yr. I was never at partys so maybe im just clueless on what really went on.

I was always since the age of 7. Playing competitive sports or martial arts or boxing. And I wrestled and played football all 4 years in high school. And I did smoke weed randomly. But never cigs or alcohol. So it happens. I saw peeps get hammered. But sports and education saved my life. Oh and lovely girls.
