At 1:57:20, Master Chief said they brought food out to the Marines standing duty. Master Chief, some people that have never served have no idea how huge that is. That is a massive gift!

SEAL Master Chief Gardner Needs, I repeat Needs to be a regular or semi regular on your podcast. I have never seen so much heart in a person like with this guy. I hung on every word he said for Podcast 167, and 168. Literally all 5 and 1/2 hours over watching for 2 days. The guy wears his heart on his sleeve and is from what I can tell, one of the most badass SEAL's I have ever listened to, besides Jocko! Salute to SEAL Master Chief, Jason Gardner!

Actually on 167 and his beggining at seals he sounded like the guy that everyone thinks how tf he passed thru the net. But has he got on, bit by bit his description and the things he was saying sounded more like a proper seal. Especially after teaching.

E-9. Wow. This guy came a long way from that shivering little kid who was forced to go out knee deep in the ocean to take the water temp at BUDs or the young guy who was caught drinking at the bar by one of his SEAL instructors. Impressive career and all around great guy. I could listen to him talk for hours.

Thank you.. I was just a regular infantryman with a pretty basic deployment to Iraq. Nothing crazy. But I did witness 3 scenarios with dead children. I think about it still and cry in solitude. I always wonder if I’m being a coward and I know other people had it extremely worse than me On their deployments. 2:08 - 2:10. In the podcast To see Jason Gardner’s emotional reaction to the scene of those children being crushed. Gives me some kind of peace. Here’s the nations most steely eyed killer and he feels the same way as a lowly infantryman. Thank you for that peace
@lima42823 жыл бұрын
Amen to that bro. There really is no way to mentally justify a circumstance about a child dying. That's why I think it emotionally hits even the hardest human beings to their core as our instinct is to protect them. Thank you for your service.

You guys bring up music a lot and spoke about Metallica and Pantera in a few podcasts for getting after it. Their music is amazing.

2:06-2:13. Just shows that a true warrior fights out of love not hate. It is because he values others more than himself, men like this have the biggest hearts on this planet. One of chesty puller's peers said about him "Once you got to know him you realized his heart was as big as all of the outdoors." That quote perfectly describes a warrior's heart

I am really impressed with the part when Jason chocked up. After witnessing and doing all what he witnessed and did he is still more human than most of us. And that makes me want to be a good man and stand for good things and look up for people like Jason. Because disregarding all those wars, killings and other sins people have been doing from the day we stepped on this planet we survived only because such people like Jason, mother Teresa and millions of unknown who had kind hearts when everything around them was evil.

2:07:43 is just one of thousands of experiences that these warriors have, it’s really easy to see how without proper support or mental health treatment that some fall into a massive hole and need help or a shoulder to lean on... so sad, war is war, but should be discussed more openly with people who’ve been there and have someone they can/may/will relate to and that alone is something.
