The woman who didn't go to drama school is on stage in one of the planet's most famous theatres, receiving one of the world's most prestigious drama awards -- and then she congratulates her grandfather to his birthday in front of an audience of who knows how many million. I really hope, with all of my heart, that she can hold on to this lovely down to earth humanity of hers. I'm looking forward to decades of her work.

Jodie always provides a down to earth mention of family whenever she wins a well deserved award. Hollywood won't ruin her because you can take the girl out of Liverpool but you can't take Liverpool out of the girl.

Patsy Ferran was the best part of Streetcar so it's a shame she couldn't join her castmates on the podium, but Jodie Comer was so brilliant in Prima Facie that it's tough to argue with the judges' decision.
