In order for that to really happen, you’d have to get rid of all the sex offenders and pedophiles and the people willing to give under age people booze and drugs. The kids also need to have parents that care about them. These things can’t be taught, they just need to be done.

Her performance in Silence of the lambs is just as strong as Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins creates such a dominant character yet Jodie foster stands up to that challenge and makes Clarice just as dominant

We all crushed on Jodie at some point in our childhood, so cute. In Italy we can't go to the movies right now because of the awkward global situation. "Come to my place let's watch Netflix or Amazon Prime" is never gonna be as good as "let's go to the movies". In spring we usually have Arenas, movie theaters in open spaces, maybe then. The movie seems very much worth it.

I met her at the Los Angeles History Museum across from USC. She was very nice but, didn’t want to be bothered because she was with her significant other and her kids. It was all good. Big fan!!

My god this woman has aged wonderfully. No botox, no fillers, no whatever's the starlets are using these days to try and still stay relevant and get onto magazine covers. Just pure talent and no ego. What a wonderful combination. I have always loved Jodie Foster, hopefully with the Globe win for The Mauritanian, she will go onto score her third Oscar.

Jodie Foster was able to say more on Guantanamo Bay in this short interview than most US politicians in their entire career. (yeah it's a US prison in Cuba) Foster was in the original series of Kung Fu - yes one of the few famous child actors but that series ended over 45 years ago.

My favorite Jodie Foster film is "Little Man Tate"----(her directing debut in which she also starred.) That film has stayed with me all these years. She is a terrific talent.

Even at just 15 or so, when I saw the movie Flightplan, having not much knowledge about good acting, I recognised Jodie for what she is from that movie alone. Agree, as a result of staying more natural and doing minimal changes to her look, always in beautiful fitted clothes and great hair cuts, she actually looks more youthful than those who get over worked. Nothing worse than seeing young girls pumped faces and overly gaudy lips and expressionless dead eyes- adds 10 years.

We’re the same age & I always admired her...for something rather odd, she wore her hair straight🤣. Our hair looked like it was similar yet I disliked mine being ‘worn’ straight but seeing her having her’s straight created a lot of self-talk but I could never convince myself it was ok. She’s an amazing actress too.

More than that, she's truly one of the most intelligent humans in the acting business, IQ wise. The only two actresses I've watched & quietly read about and followed, since arriving in America in the late 1970s as an 11 year-old boy, are Jodie Foster and the young woman who played "Kevin" of THE WONDER YEARS's love interest ("Winnie"), the shy, awkward Danica McKellar who, in real life, went on to study mathematics at UCLA. They are two incredibly intelligent and well educated women. Although I didn't know about this until just now, I learned that Danica McKellar was born in La Jolla, a rich enclave in northern San Diego, where the University of Californis, San Diego, is... where I attended college... San Diego's where I grew up & grew old most of the last 42 years of being in America...
