Pete has a bright future in politics. I’m really hoping he becomes president one day, but even if he doesn’t, I’m sure he will continue to grow in his influence. Indiana may have had a homophobe as governor for far too long, but perhaps a moral, progressive, and intelligent man like Pete is in their future as a governor.

@@fab647 I am still researching her but she turned me off from the democratic campaign trail when she went against everyone. Tulsi destroyed her and she likes to throw black people in jail for drugs. You know people can change though. She has four years to impress me so my opinions of her may change. That and she is a lawyer or attorney (I can't remember), so she has a very easy time not answering questions. Mike Pence steam rolled her in the VP debate, but maybe her debate performance will get better since she is still young and will like you said get experience. I have an open mind, but she ain't no progressive.

I've missed having a real President for the past 3.5 yrs. Biden has experience and a big heart. He is also humble and will bring a strong team with him (Harris, Sanders, Warren and Buttigieg). to lead this nation. @Nick_ @Boom ds I agree with both of you, putting Kamala on the ticket was definitely strategic. I just hate that she can’t really operate the way Pete’s been able to as of late. He’s done an excellent job of plainly stating the facts despite the mudslinging from across the aisle. They nvr have a rebuttle and he does it so eloquently. If she does too much “retaliating” she may be labeled as the “angry black woman” 🤦🏾♂️ I just feel like she’s boxed in because of this. Nonetheless, I’m certain Pete will definitely have a place in the Biden administration.

I would LOVE to see Pete and AOC as presidents in the future. Maybe the far future, but hopefully the near future. They might be pretty young still, but if ithere’s one thing these last 4 years have taught me, it’s that you don’t need political experience to be president. Pete will likely be offered the Secretary of State position or secretary of Veterans affairs. Secretary of State makes more sense considering he polls higher than any other candidate for trusted on foreign policy and when asked if they agree with a candidates foreign policy platform. Plus, why put 8 languages and a generally diplomatic personality to waste. No Cis white male in the democratic field will take another white male as their running mate again. Those days are now dead. Stacey Abrams or Kamala Harris will be his VP pick, with perhaps Castro as an alternative option. Pete will be in the VP list but he won't be in the top 2.

Bernie Sanders is infinitely more decent than either Buttigieg or Biden. Don't get me wrong, they're both decent guys, but they don't have anywhere near the integrity of someone like Sanders who has consistently fought for progressive values for decades. Look on the bright side. Pete is young. He has his whole career ahead of him. He will probably run in 2028, or maybe even 2024 if Biden decides to run for only one term. I'm also pretty certain he'll get his pick of whatever cabinet position he wants in a Biden administration, so he'll be helping America in the meantime if Biden wins.

Really moving speech by the mayor... and that's dignity, decency, credibility, of a young leader. You have a great and bright future ahead. Who knows maybe one day Pete will become a Democratic US president.

It's simple logic, vote for Bernie, or get another 4 years of Trump. None of these democrats are offering anything much different to Trump's platform..They have the same corrupt agenda, but instead of an orange WWE character, we'll get a fake boring politician. In that case, i'd rather have Trump.. at least he's entertaining.
