Joe Bob Briggs shows us the classic Godzilla vs Monster Zero I cant seem to find any info about when this aired, but it is an early one.

Showa Godzilla movies are all about pro wrestling, especially 'Godzilla vs. Megalon,' which is what makes it great. 'Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster' and 'Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla' also take their moves and plotlines straight from pro wrestling. That explains why Godzilla became a good guy, he was too over to be a heel.

Joe Bob Briggs and monster vision was my introduction as a kid to bad movies and creature features. I wish they would re air a monster vision marathon. Hell we are all at home at the moment.

'bad movies'? They seem pretty good to me! But then I proudly have low standards! Ha!

Man I miss the shit out of this stuff from when I was a kid. I basically watched this stuff every Saturday night when I could find it on. Funny how as I get older now TV gets shittier and shittier.

I was wondering how long Monster vision was on TNT. I checked. ,it was on from June 29, 1991 - September 17, 2000. Its shame they don't have more shows like this. Where they show good b-movies with a grade A host. Political incorrect humor. ,I ❤ it. Thanks goodness we still have KZfaq. Where you kind find the best campiest, wackiest, tackiest, films around. ,awesome. Thanks KZfaq

Blame Jaime Kellner for canceling _Monstervision_ as well as all WCW programming as part of his strategy to shift TNT to cater to the female demographic. He was the one who canceled _Animaniacs_ at The WB and ruined _Pinky and The Brain_ by adding Elmyra from _Tiny Toons._

I think Joe Bob came in in 1996 so wasn't there the first 5 years.

These are fucking amazing to watch now. I was 8 when this aired. I maybe heard three words he said because i wanted to see my hero Godzilla on the tv. Thank you! Also I believe it was Gettysburg that was on next week for July 4th weekend. Also that fucking shirt @6:30 is LEGENDARY!!! Wish I got one back then. This is a great trip down memory lane. Also one of the first time we saw webstie advertisement.

Love this movie! I actually remember watching this film when it aired on their new years marathon Long Live Joe Bob and you know the other monster movie he mentioned, Frankenstien Conquers the World, was directed by the same man who did the Godzilla flicks. I wish the other monster movies in the marathon were online but I can live with just this.

I'd just like to point out that Godzilla doesn't die in Godzilla vs. Mothra. But other than that, I miss this show so much. I'm hoping for a DVD release, but they'd have to get the licensing rights and all that malarkey.

TicalWave89 Dated info before the internet corrected it all.He only perished in the original, in Godzilla vs Destroyah and for the last time in Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant monsters all out attack until he eventually regenerated from his heart at the bottom of the sea.

Hey 👋 back then in 1996 or 1997 On TNT’s MonsterVision hosted by Joe Bob Briggs when they shown Godzilla Movie called Godzilla Vs Monster Zero (1966) then they should shown a Terrible Marvel Comic Movie called Howard The Duck (1986) like Joe Bob called them the two Outer Space 🪐 Monsters Movies then on TNT’s 100% Weird They begin to show Godzilla’s Revenge (1969)!

its weird/funny seeing this show and how it amazing it was and the time it was in. Then you see the commercials and they're talking about their website and chat rooms and all and...here we are to where that is everyone's life, sadly.

@opp31337 Жыл бұрын
as in people watching a show together and chatting about it online? It very may well be the first "official" chat but people were probably doing this for years before with IRC (Internet Relay Chat) or AOL(America OnLine).

I ❤ the Godzilla movies. I wonder what the word Godzilla means? God of the zillas? I like when the words don't match the dialog they are saying😂 when Joe bob said bugs bunny vs scralet O'Hara. I LOL 😄😂.

When watch old timey movies it freaks me out .or I think its kinda bummer if all the actors in it are dead. So instead I wonder how many of these actors are still alive if any . then I look on the net to see if they crooked or not.
@opp313375 жыл бұрын
Joe bob said that once. He said he sometimes watches movies and thinks "I'm watching dead people "
