@@LoPiccolo.Hurts was really good last year people overlook it and say it’s only one year, I’d argue he runs as good if not better than Allen and has a better touch on the ball throwing, Allen throws harder and can get it to a receiver faster, I’m an eagles fan so I may be biased but I have also watched all of hurts games, two of his biggest issues were not going through progressions and deciding to run far too early and throwing out routes to the sideline, seems to have fixed both those issues. I’d take Hurts slightly only because I’d take hurts’s accuracy over Allen’s arm strength. Very close though

Nick really does hate Allen. If any other QB‘a play “suddenly” dropped off when they had a UCL injury, Nick would attribute it to that, not the “rollercoaster.” He’s also, if anyone’s noticed adding in recovered fumbles as turnovers.

Recovered fumbles are still fumbles, even if they are recovered by your team. They aren't a turnover, but they still get recorded. You can have a fumble and your team can have no turnovers in the game, in this instance. Fumbling the ball is still counted if your team recovers it, because the recovery goes into your team's stat block. It just doesn't get counted as a turnover, as it shouldn't. The defense can recover and lose the ball, in which case the defense caused a turnover that still gets counted, but so does the offense. This means that a team's offense can play perfectly and still lose because the defense fumbled the ball back and let the team that originally fumbled score. I've actually seen that play out as a Chiefs fan, and not in my team's favor.

Nicks only argument against josh is his turnovers 😂😂 He literally carried the team to a 13 - 3 season while still having really good stats otherwise. Some of the interceptions were due to bad decisions, but it would help tremendously if he didn’t have to do so much for the team. I also think he knows he has to be smarter with the ball, which will definitely help lower the turnovers

Yes, its the difference between him being on mahome’s level, but its clear nick just over focuses on the one negative and refuses to acknowledge any of the really good things he’s done.

Everyone says Nick hates Allen because he's close to Pat... No. If you've been watching for a long time, you should know it's because Nick had a really bad draft take on Allen which was initially proved correct. Then as time went on & Allen improved, Nick kept waiting for the other the other shoe to drop... *It Didn't.* So instead of adjusting his opinion, he only covers any perceived issues, mistakes or shortcomings regarding Allen. When he does something good, Nick's not there. When he throws an INT, Nick has a tweet within seconds. As the rest of the sports media has grown to accept Allen, Nick resents being on that island, so instead he tries to bring fans & haters over to the island with him.

I just don't get nicks refusal to accept Josh as a top 3 Quarterback. Maybe he's only top 5 in the future, I could see that if Lamar returns to form and Herbert shapes up to what his potential is, but atm Josh Allen is objectively a top 3 qb. In nearly every stat for the past 3 years he has been top 2-5, he has had 2 absolutely elite seasons in this season and 2020, he has shown consistently he is a winner and can be clutch and puts up points no matter how many are needed, and I mean jeez just watch him play. No one can take a game over like he can, his arm is amazing, his ability to extend plays is second only to Mahomes, his dual threat ability is very very real and better than even hurts imo, he struggles with decision making at times but overall he actually is great at reading defenses and making pre-snap adjustments. I just don't get what Nicks problem is with Josh. If anyone else put up the statline and number of wins Josh has he would praise them. If Lawrence had the season Josh just had Nick would put him at number two, but instead he consistently downplays his achievements and raw stats showing down games among countless fantastic ones as if those prove he's not one of the best QB's in the league even though he clearly is.

His too inconsistent to be a top 3 qb, leading the league in turnovers isn't a good season and getting slapped at home in the playoffs didn't cement him as top 3. His 2020 season was great but he's not been as good since. He's easily top 10 but with a down year he's 5-10 and with a great year he's still going to peak at 3 or 4

Also Allen has never thrown a pick in a close playoff game and lost. He’s like the next Aaron Rodgers. Does everything he possibly can to win and his team fails him every year.

He forgets to mention one thing the bills don’t have a run game without him and only have 1 reliable pass catcher. Last year the bill had the highest drop percentage and this forced us into long down distance scenarios where he had to be more risky with ball. The lack of Bills playoff success is 25% on him 75% on McDermott. It’s not his fault that the defense pulls a David copper field and disappears every playoff. It’s not his fault that the bills haven’t had a thousand yard rusher his entire career where players like Burrow and hurts have. The offense is give the ball to Josh allen hope he runs or throws it to Diggs. If you swapped Reid and McDermott I’d guarantee you Allen would be tied or have more super bowls than mahomes not saying he’s better but the coaching gap between those two is like the Grand Canyon. Sean McDermott cannot coach Super Bowl winning football and it’s a fact

The Bills running backs ran for 1418 yards on 291 carries. That's 4.87 yards per carry and that was ranked #2 in the league just behind the Ravens at 4.91, the Bills definitely have a running game. By the numbers they have the second best running back group in 2022. They already have good running backs. They just need to let them run and stop feeding it to Allen.

Lawrence made career years for 3 of his receivers all in the same year. People forgot these receivers' names before last year. Allen's statistics while throwing to anyone not named Diggs is abysmal. 57% completions, 86.2 passer rating, 13 to 9 touchdown interception ratio. Lawrence has made receivers better while Diggs clearly is the reason Allen has his passing numbers.

Statistical facts: Since 2018 Josh played 13 more games then Dak however he only has 80 more completions, a lower cmp%, 865 more yards, 17 more TDs, 17 more INTs, 13 more fumbles and a lower passer rating. Remember in 13 less games. So if Dak is overrated cant the same be said for Josh Allen?

Um… Allen has played 20 fewer games than Dak. Allen has been to the post season the same number of times as Dak (even though Dak has 2 more seasons) and Allen has made All Pro (Dak hasn’t). Double check your info

@@dannyed42 ok. Sentence structure was problematic. And… you are scheming the numbers by limiting the data set. Should we ignore Dak’s second season with 13 picks and 2.7 int%. Just compare overall performance. Dak has good numbers and comps well with Allen. But you can’t ignore that the fact that Dak is 2-4 in the post season while Allen is 4-4 (including a conference championship). Dak did not in fact get AP and CPoY voting shares only means he had a bad year or injury to come back from. It’s a feel good award. Now… pointing out that Dak has some MVP shares is more relevant (although it’s only 1 vote). contrast, Allen has 2 seasons with MVP shares and with OPoY shares. Again… it’s a good comp between these two, but Allen has the edge.

God, Nick is insufferable, I don’t know where all this Josh Allen hate comes from. I think three is exactly where Josh should be. I don’t think he’s better than Mahomes nor do I think he’s better than Joe at this juncture, now that could change if he has a good season. But Josh does more with less compared to Mahomes and Burrow. I’m sorry those are the facts. He’s never had a good offense of line and all he’s really had was Stefon Diggs and Low key Dawson Knox. Oh, right, and Mahomes only had the greatest offensive coach in history not named Bill Walsh.

I don’t want my QB protecting their QBR like Rodgers does for their entire career. Nick needs to stop falling on this turnover stat every year with Allen. If the turnovers don’t equal losses they don’t matter as much. Allen turns the ball over and then will make a miraculous throw the next drive. Burrow does the same exact thing. Gunslinger Allen passes the eye test to rank third easily.

Herbert ahead of Hurts? I’m also so tired of these experts acting like Jalen can’t throw like a top qb when he regularly threw bombs last season. Yeah, he isn’t Mahomes as far as throwing but it’s not like Jalen didn’t throw multiple 30 yard plus passes right over the shoulders of on the move receivers last season. Just because he’s amazing at running and throwing short passes doesn’t mean he CAN’T throw longer ones. If that uncharacteristic fumble didn’t happen or his defense could’ve stopped that last drive, he’d have a Super Bowl. He balled out in that game and all year.

i don’t agree with nick on most topics, but he’s completely right. josh allen has literally done nothing in this league. his best accomplishment is a loss to the chiefs in the divisional round. blown out by the bengals at home. no super bowl no mvp. he’s got a huge arm and is wildly talented but mistake prone. they force this chiefs bills narrative but i do believe the window for their success is shutting quickly.

Other than tbe Buccaneers nibody these past 3 yrs ran a more aggressive offense than the Bills. Allen is asked to make throws nobody but Brady was asked. He recently hit one game a 22 yard curl in triple coverage going left. Nothing easy comes for hin and that Bills offense. Only Brady, Rosgers and Mahomes were even remotely close in elite throws to Allen last yr. So yeah he might turn it over every once in a while cause he is running a very dangerous and aggressive offense. He is beyind special. Most talented QB ever. If Elway and Cam rolled their tools into one QB
