Calzaghe was a horror match up for Froch, as tough as Froch, Froch maybe had better power because of Calzaghe's hand injuries but Calzaghe better in every other way. I think Calzaghe would have just out worked and pressured Froch winning a wide decision but he could just beat him counter punching as well.

Lacy was not on the same level so i would say joe best performace was against MITCHELL, JOE GOT PUT DOWN GOT BACK UP AND BANGED THE ALABAMA SLAMER. Benn is easily the best super middleweight from the UK. Benn beat Gerald fucking McClellan and also beat Eubank and got robbed. McClellan would have flattened Calzaghe.

pound s I like carl we watched all his fights but in the super 6 you were never sure if he had won when the decision was getting read out, he was beaten in the dirrell fight by about 3 rounds we exploded into cheers when he got the decision cos we were convinced he lost and dirrel was poor so overrated, Kessler beat froch and in the rematch out of 8 of us 5 thought Kessler won I had carl and Kessler was about 35 at the time, in the first groves fight the ref stopped it far to early groves wasn't even hurt I hated groves and wanted carl to smash him but after that you felt for him cos he was about 5 points up, but I must say if you think froch is bigger name in boxing than Calzaghe it makes me think your a bit bias in what way is froch still relevant he hasn't fought for years and hes defo not a celeb no one really knows froch I'm sitting here with 6 people and 4 of them know joe and none of them know carl but carl is a legend I like him but I must say I think froch was made for joe but both were greats a lot of people don't like carl but I think you just need to get his dry mind.

Dave The Hopkins who fought Calzaghe would have easily beaten Froch. Froch vs Calzaghe is a 50/50 fight though. Froch hit way harder and had a way better chin. Calzaghe was way faster and more skilled.

I hear you, but Calzaghe did sometimes leave himself open such as when he got put down against RJJ and BHop. Froch being one of the biggest punchers ever in SMW div so IF he did manage to catch Joe would have a chance of knockout. Of course no chance of Froch points win over Joe though.

BestCanKeanRob2 depends what you class as destroyed. Could see joe winning all 12 rounds. Fridge took a while to get going and came on late when his opponents tired. Joe was so fit he could fight with massive punch volume for 12 rounds

Tony X totally agree. Joe was just too fast. His power was very underrated. And his will to win was second to none.
