Dude can rock n roll! I first heard of Joe Cocker when he performed at Woodstock. But I was hooked in 1970 when I bought his classic album “Mad Dogs and Englishmen”, and I’ve been a fan ever since…❤🙏🏽🎶🎵

There is not a band that could even touch this! Joe and the band are just so tight! The crowd is rockin right to the last row of seating. And no rough language. Every one is having a blast ! All is ok in the land of Joe Cocker

I remember the first time he was on tv. We waited all day to see him. Loved him then and still listen to him all the time. It was his soul coming out of his music.

When we first saw him on TV we thought there was something wrong with him - he seemed spastic. But we grew to love his voice and his performances and now I'm in a band that does this song in his style!

I am so glad I have seen Joe live, and it was a night to remember he was something else RIP. He was singing with his entire soul behind it. What a musician this man was, they don’t make singers like this anymore.

Actually, this is a Ray Charles tune from the early 60s but Cocker was a master at taking a good song and rearranging it to make it his own.

When I first saw JC. I thought he had a muscular disability because of how he was moving,, then I realized its the power heart and soul coming right out of his body,, That was early 80"s 20 years later he still had the same power, ,true British gentlemen. Nice to see some recent posts,

Un gran icono inmortal como lo fue en nuestra juventud de los años 70.......grande e inolvidable Joe Cocker. Me recuerdas cuando era joven en esa epoca, de pelo largo y ahora ya a mis 70 años, pelado pero con recuerdos de mi juventud.

you must just accept the fact - joe cocker is one of the few great. this is a classic - so good - bass, drum, sax, backup - its all there! if you can sit still while hearing this, you may be dead!! (or should be)

I totally agree what a great band.. I saw them at a place called Ontario Place that had a revolving stage.. loved every minute of it.. couldn't believe when he did, my love is alive.. I thought oh jeez, is this that awful synth song from the 70s but he rocked the hell out of it..
