Leicester Square, London.
Various shots show snooker expert Joe Davis demonstrating a new trick shot at Leicester Square Hall. He pushes the white ball towards a pocket then gets 7 others in before the white gets there.
More tricks follow, involving the white leaping over a line of balls and, in the final shot, into a bottle-shaped basket.

Joe died when Ronnie was 2 years old, so they've obviously never met. Interestingly, though, in his first season as a pro, Ronnie did play Joe's brother Fred (aged 79) in the qualifiers of the 1992 Grand Prix, and won 5-1.

I wonder how he would have fared against the best current (2023) players? He won the world championship 20 years consecutively. The green baize cloth was much thicker in the old days and the balls were almost twice the weight of modern Super Crystalite ones. To pull off the machine gun trick shot is very impressive. Even the best players of today falter on that.

It's hard to say we do know he would of dominated the 70s as his brother Fred was holding his own despite being in his 60s and well past his prime and Joe was a better player in both their primes.
