@@missestomlinson99 The most evil dad in showbiz is the dad of the De Barge singing group. I wonder why no one talks about him molesting most of his children. Because he is white, but the media and you keep on demonising the Jacksons.
@fidelnenas8390
@fidelnenas8390 Жыл бұрын
@@missestomlinson99 there’s is a difference between discipline and abuse. Stern and mean. Learn it. None of his children (son) accused him of abuse. This man managed 6 growing young men (3 were under 10 when they started) with 6 different personalities during the time of civil rights. When he knew his children’s act had to be precise and flawless. They had to be more than just gifted. How many other fathers with big families do you think got out of the hood just being even mannered? This man brought up his BLACK family during a time where it was hard for blacks to succeed let alone live. His own children said he was stern but they understood and appreciated that he made them successful and none of them were ever arrested or were convicted of drugs. Michael allegations were false and his addiction was to pain killers stemming from his hair catching fire and burning his scalp. That man understood in order for them to succeed as a family he had to be able to control his children. Even the most talentless of his children also made the spotlight. His children were brought up at a time when parent only had to speak to their children one time (not fifteen) to get them to respond and perform a request. His children were an still are the most humble and appreciative performers even til this day. Through his efforts they became successful and so did some of the grandchildren. If all I need is a so called “mean” father to be as successful as they became, I’ll take it.

Rip Joe. My grandma and grandpa was married for 30 years divorced. Than remarried other people. But at the end my grandpa wanted my grandma by his side until he passed. Even though my grandma couldn't stand him anymore. She was still supportive. He wanted all his family and we all was there. Sometimes no matter what. Family come together at the end. But even before his death. They came together and had no regrets. We was one big extended family.

Joe Jackson was truly a visionary where few people of his generation were not supposed to have aspirations or had it slowly taken it from them. Because of his determination, the whole world were exposed, affected, and entertained by one of the most talented family the world saw. Joe Jackson was old school and his kids rather than become victims of society and locked up, stood on the world stage.

Y'all forget Mother Katherine is a devoted Jehovah's Witness? Even though sexual immorality is one of the highest offenses, the JW Elders advised her not to divorce Joe Jackson. to be sure the family's lawyers and accountants contributed and calculated what claims he'd have on the Jackson's brand through divorce. Mother Katherine made a brilliant decision and it was sooo NOT based in LOVE for Joe a/o that other family he created down the street, around the corner. Joh'vonnie's book sales 'bout to make her a few coins right 'bout now, maybe.

I never seen nobody say or address it but, one thing majority people can't top is their strong vows to one another...admirable the old values I hope they prosper longer into the generations to come. I give it up for Joe staying in the picture. He probably was an excellant business man that made sure nobody rip off his children's talents. But, atleast as a unit they did the best they could. I hope everyone came as should. Also I hope he left better memories to make up for whatever he did. Because usually when a person decease stuff rolls back constantly on your mind. I know this will be a hard one it just seems the generation of wisdom going away. Have to cherish older people while you can.

I too am a fan of the Jackson's and I keep telling myself the same thing. Michael decided to discredit his father in public, probably to get back at him from childhood years. But only his father could guide him out of troubled waters. MJ wanted his father to bow to him given MJ's star power, it didn't work and he eventually paid the price. Same as Jermaine, he chose Berry Gordy over his own father when the Jackson 5 left Motown for CBS/Epic Records and nobody was there to guide him. Latoya also turned on her family, the results were devastating. Joe Jackson was no saint, but so to is Bill Clinton not one either. However, Joe knew he had the intelligence to navigate his family to success and held on to this power until the very end.

Joe Jackson was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather and son. If it wasn't for him his sons and daughters would not have made it into show business. RIP Joe Jackson!🙂🙏

everyone commenting about Bigi doesn't look like Michael and nobody commenting about Eissa (janet's baby) looks like Bigi... oh yeah i forgot, its because they're The MJ's kid so the world doesnt accept the fact that they are his children. everyone commenting about how fair Bigi's skin and Eissa has fair skin aswell. wow, look at the picture of bigi when he was a baby and compare it to eissa. smh

When was the repast? Or is this what Harvey is referring to when he says "luncheon." LOL! I thought people were joking when they said White people don't know what a repast is. Perhaps it's true! This is hilarious. Anyway, my condolences to the Jackson family.

If you’re referring to Michael, no he doesn’t. He, nor Prince or Paris look like Michael. Idk what Blanket’s race is, but he’s definitely not half black with that bone straight hair.

King lord yes he looks just like his dad. Tall and thin and stands just like Michael. And for you idiots saying Mike's not their dad must not know about genetics we come in the darkest of the dark to the lightest of the light. Not every biracial person actually look biracial, why do u think there are so many black folks who can and do pass for white so they will be treated better. I swear folks kill me just because they're fair skinned they can't be Mike's. All of them look like him.

They did the same for Michael they had their own funeral and then a public one. It's not any interesting relationship when you have 10 plus kids and he was still a big party of the family. He was daddy regardless of what the world saw and judged for themselves.
