@@sharmilab1860 you're welcome. If you like British comics I can recommend Paul Smith of Hot Water Comedy Club. He mostly does crowd work, i.e. talking to people as he comperes and warms up for the other acts, but he's easily the funniest! Give him a go if you don't mind foul language... X

We have two very similarly named streets in my town called Freewater and Freewater Lane. I happen to know that because I used to live on Freewater and people, especially delivery drivers, would constantly confuse them. As it so happens, Freewater Lane has a big overpriced public parking lot called Freewater Lane Parking. The creativity invested in the naming process is only matched by the atmosphere of the gravel pit the size of three football fields it actually is. I used to park my car there every day, mind you this was long after moving out of Freewater because that place was a depressing shithole. I also made it a point not to pay for parking in Freewater Lane once. One fine day, I got a parking ticket on Freewater Lane Parking for not paying their ridiculous fees. Except the ticket didn't say Freewater Lane Parking, it said Freewater. So I contested the ticket and they send me a letter saying they had photographic evidence. So I wrote back I'd be very interested to see that photograph because I only bought my car after leaving Freewater behind never to be seen again. They replied they'd cacel the fee.

Same. I live in Melbourne, and the council parking authorities are such pricks that they have an "appeals" section where they just have a list of reasons why they will NOT under virtually any circumstance cancel a fine.

@@MJAY-N7129 Highly recommend the border region with France, including both Freiburg and Strasbourg (you can literally walk over to France from Kehl). Warmest region. Also good food, wine and beer. I visit whenever passing between the two countries, or from Switzerland and Italy.
