I think Joe Rogan is way more intelligent than he gives himself credit for. He's great at martial arts, does comedy, speaks to all kinds of people with different backgrounds while remaining as neutral as possible. That's a sign of great intelligence. Most people can't separate their emotions and will even refuse to talk to someone based on their background or POV
@katlis

Joe has an incredible capacity for remembering information. While that doesn't make someone smart, and some of his information is fed to him from uneducated sources, it's nice to see how he does admit to being wrong when he realizes it (eg. the Moon landing), in the age of everyone holding their stance. So yea, he tries to be neutral, he's learning, and he's a good interviewer. But definitely take what he says with a grain of salt. I mean, some of his "friends" are Alex Jones and Ben Shapiro.

Regarding the Saddam kids thing, I think that when you remove opposition, struggle, and pushback from someone's life, it makes it very difficult to develop empathy or any number of traits that people need. For example, if everybody laughed at every joke you told, it is very unlikely that you would become really genuinely funny because there is no refining process. This happens with people who grow up with a lot of money and also sometimes people who are super attractive.

@VictusG

Suffering is largely internal, not external. One may have all the material possessions in the world, but that does not mean that they are not suffering internally. There is a saying that the wealthiest people on Earth are some of the least happy people. Obviously this sounds ridiculous to those who have hardly anything, but this hole that these people feel inside might just be the reason on why they pursue their careers the way that many of them do. In other words, their pursuit of wealth might be nothing more than their attempt at escaping their own internal suffering.

Eric Weinstein clearly loves Joe a whole bunch and also recognises Joe's services to free expression and having great long format discussions. Some of Joe's Sam and Eric podcasts are my all time favourite. Also Joe thinks that because he isn't a physicist that he can't be smart. 🤷‍♂️ It's a failure of his own intuition. Edit: The "othering" of groups happens a whole bunch with left/right political divides. Its a feature of the political system..no, really, no conspiracy theory stuff at all, its true. 🙂

Or we are just weirded out by you people following him like a cult leader. The dude is a fake engineer whos success depended on his daddy giving him money. He didn't earn anything, yet some random college dropout thinks that Elon works hard. Dude is a joke.

Web3 fixes that and ironically Elon Musk does not support it.

Off topic. Why do grown men sit in this effeminate style line Schultz and his podcast sidekick. The response that I usually get is “😢 leave people alone and just let them live 🌸 “. My question is based on the basic anatomical differences between men and women. A woman’s hip structure allows for their legs to cross easily. And of course, there is no way around crushing male genitalia while crossing your legs. It is more uncomfortable than not sitting that way, so why do it?
