Mike Tyson asking for some of Joe's elk was quite possibly the greatest moment of Joe Rogan's entire life
@whitebuffalo49043 жыл бұрын
hahaha 100% joe's eyes lit the fuck up and he had to do a double take when champ dropped that he's been eating elk- this is like joe's calling haha. and then when champ said he'd love to have some of joe's elk... joe for sure melted inside. what an awesome interaction- i wish it went on longer.

8:46 "impossible is nothing to someone that tries" I hope mike knows how proud his fans are of the man he has come to be. we were proud of him for winning, but that's not what fighting is all about. it's also how you are after you've won. and after all these years mike has matured and grown. fighting is about well, fighting. you're there to fight, you can want to win, hope you can win but whether you win or lose is uncertain. you come to fight, if you have the guts to step in the ring, you've won against yourself, and that's what matters

Every neighbor around him, he has to notify them about an incident that happened 25 years ago. Whenever he does ads with kids or around them he has to notify the parents of something he did in the past. The man has already been trialed by law and shown no sign of "re-offence" (which is the whole point of being registered as a sexual offender) in the last 25 years. The fact that by law he has to talk about it so openly even though he did it 25 years ago, shows how even till this day he is paying for his misdeeds; I mean that's all you can really ask, after your punishment don't be reoffender

Mike was in his prime while I was coming into my own as a teenager becoming an adult. He was the Champ of my time. The hype over an Tyson fight was historical. Everyone got to the point they just started predicting 1st round murder scenes. Even since he has retired he's lead an amazing career and lifestyle. Kudos to you bro, for coming from the gutter to resting upon your throne. We're all blessed to know your story

Mike Tyson seems to have had huge growth in his life, I think it's hard for Joe Rogan to comprehend that. Joe Rogan seems to be an average person, which is why he is liked, but Mike is bad ass in a good way if it makes sense. Joe Rogan keeps on talking about how it feels to be Mike Tyson and prepare for the fight etc, but what he doesn't realize this is the evolved Mike Tyson preparing for a fight, who doesn't really care about personal wealth or accolades. He is the Mike Tyson who progressed mentally, spiritually in his life and understands the greater purpose in life. Joe keeps on pushing him in the corner and asking him the same questions in different ways was exhausting to watch.

To engage the widest range of people you could can find on the entire planet and pull meaningful conversation for hours from them. That is his gift. Nobody else has ever done this.

Mike Tyson has become Cus D'Amato personified!! Greatness, like Mike Tyson, will always give their progressions to how they attained their abilities through the practice of mentored disciplines and commitment to excellence in any endeavor. His candor and excitement to what he was looking forward to at this moment in his journey is very inspiring. Mike is such a complex man. You can just see he’s been to war and walked a thousand miles just to get out! He is excited to fight for a good cause, but you can tell he was afraid to commit 100%. The fighting mentality was a huge ingredient in him losing everything and he thinks perhaps he can lose it all again if he fully commits. It’s a small shade of PTSD! It’s really good to see him test the waters again and be able to control it this time! To have an ego and not let it blaze out of control.

Fanny Annie I love soft Mike. I relate to him in many ways, and I’m sure many people say things to themselves like Mike says to himself. We all have that internal battle to fight. Life is same within us as much as it is without. I think Mike was trying to touch on this and get some insite from Joe when he mentions getting high. Mike wanted to dive in the deep end and Joe kinda stayed in the shallow only, because Joe is excited for Mike’s fight. I read a cool quote recently from Aristotle about distilling, and spirits. Everything in this life can be distilled. When we consume things our body distills it internally. When we consume something that’s already been distilled we get a much more concentrated form of it. Our lungs distill air, our stomached distill water, our eyes distill light Mike is cool

I like there talk about conquerors, and freeing slaves. Reminds me of the documentary of Treasures From The Wreck Of The Unbelievable. About the slave who bought his own freedom. Then stole, traded, bought, and collected to most amazing treasure in history. It was only recorded in fictional books. I get emotional thinking about what Mike says when he describes one person trying to change history. That’s where humans emotional intelligence really comes into play. It’s happening right now across this whole world. We are discovering our own personal emotional intelligence. This is a great episode. Thanks Joe Rogan, and Mike Tyson.
