Mike is proof that we can never judge a book by its cover or someone by their past mistakes. What he's become now and after his accolades makes him that much more inspirational, and his honest reflection on his life is astonishing. Kudos to you, Mike, for making the best of your life after boxing.

Hi Mr. Joe Rogan. I follow you. There's many things that I love about you, but what most draws me to you is how honest, intelligent, your humbleness, and how you are very tasteful and easy to listen to and relate. You have many gifts. One thing that teally backed me on thos I'd when Dana White told won of the ufc athletes, "And don't do any reports, it's with Joe Rogan." I know you've done about for others and thought I'd go out on a whim. I've assisted my whole life from child abuse, spousal abuse, horrors of the streets and turned my life around.. I'm going to school for Associates of Applied of Applied Science and want to be a Drug Councelor. I don't want anyone to continue to endure the pain and suffering I did and show them that they're is another way of Life and Recovery is very much possible. I have Congestion Heart Failure. I did from a Pulmonary Embolism and 5 Massive Heart Attacks. Only 5% of the Nation Survive and even with a Pacemaker, i ran a 5K.. So, this is not a sad story, this is a Success Story of Survival and Strong Will to Make a difference in Someone's Life. I've lost my vehicle and have little support and thought that maybe, just maybe you can make my dream come true to meet you and if you feel I deserve it, maybe I might be able to get a little help with my hospital bills, school, or just a little crocks to make things easier on me and my health, so I may better serve, do Good Will and my Passion to help others. Also, Mike Tyson, is such an Inspiration to me. When I felt very weak and sick, is listen to his motivational speeches before school and he helped very me up and out the door. I would hate for both of y'all to go through life and never knowing how many people you never come across, but touch in such an extreme, beautiful, and tremendous way Thankyou Joe Rogan and Thankyou to Mike Tyson. A couple of few things: 1. Joe, you hit the nail on the head at the 1:04 point of today’s podcast. Mike was wavering a bit as he talked about the bio pic. He was pondering his past, asking, "Is this going to hurt me? Do I really need that?" 2. I am former 17-year TV sports anchor/reporter who has interviewed athletic greats like Gretzky, MJ, Bird, David Robinson, Karl Malone, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, and so many more. I am trying to say that I have been around the block and would consider myself seasoned. 3. That is why, with admiration, I can say that I witnessed one of the greatest examples of an interviewer being skillfully disarming in a manner that was thoughtful, nurturing , reassuring, and kind, as you reassured Mike that “He would be fine, and none of it would hurt him” because he's showcasing the beautiful part of his personality, "the Real Mike Tyson " who is humble, contrite, and truly nice. You can see that he looks at you like a subject matter expert, and in that moment, you weren't “Joe Rogan hosting the JRE, interviewing the baldest man on the planet.” You were “Joe,” talking to your friend “Mike,” reassuring him about something he was feeling insecure about. 4. Well done, man. I enjoyed this.

I was an athiest before, but now I'm spiritual (cue the comments calling me a hippy loser lol). It showed me what my past wrongs were, and now I'm on a path to making right those wrongs. Those I stole from, those I hurt, those I need to spend more time with before it's too late, etc. It showed me that I'm not the center of reality, and that I need to strive to be of service to others as much as possible.

The man who, in my opinion, had the biggest ego of all the people I've ever heard, read or watched about...convicted of rape, violent, drug addict, the strongest man in the world, he ripped off a man's ear... And now he sits calmly, calmly in a chair full of understanding, tolerance, patient absolutely aware of all his faults and sins... Strength, weakness, wisdom, madness, wealth, bankruptcy, hatred, love... Miracle of man!
