I took a class in college called “History of the Soviet Union”. When learning about the Bolshevik revolution, I raised my hand and asked my professor, “Do you see any similarities between what happened there and what’s happening in society today?” (We were specifically talking about how students in the USSR essentially “cancelled” their professors who were thought to be against the party) He quickly said, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Paused for a moment, class completely silent, then continued the lecture. Scary stuff.

Couldn’t do one pull up so she got to hang for like twenty seconds instead. During probation they took out more physical tests like carrying a roof ladder up the 24 and placing it on a roof to vent. No one ever said why they took it out but I knew. I don’t bid with her mostly because I don’t trust her to save me if I go down but also because in the fire house we banter and talk smack to each other. Robert E. Lee was actually an amazing person. Look at his relation to George Washington. Look in to how he struggled with his devotion to the Union and to the South, his home. Look at how he surrendered. Look at what he did afterwards. Douglas Murray interviewed a historian on Lee, and it blew my mind because of course he is so vilified. All of these historical figures are way more nuanced than how they're presented. Just like any individual.

I’m a gay man, and I don’t think drag queens should be in the classroom. If you’re gay or trans, you will know. I knew I was gay when I was in elementary school, so I kept to myself a lot and did not get too close to anyone because I saw a boy, who wasn’t even gay, get beat up everyday in 5th grade in 1995 because the other kids thought he was gay. The teacher never did anything about it. I’m from a small town in Georgia, so it wasn’t uncommon to be in the same classroom with the same kids in elementary school through high school. He ended up becoming one of those quiet trench coat kids in high school. Nobody messed with him anymore after the Columbine High School shooting. I wish I would’ve had someone to talk to when I was little, but I dealt with it as best as I could. I’m 40 now, and am part of a great community in Las Vegas. Folks will find their tribe. I love my drag queen friends, but they don’t need to be in the classrooms. Just make sure children are not being picked on or bullied. That’s more important. I never went to prom either lol.

I think societally, we put to much emphasis on schooling, for the wrong reasons. Learning, is the reason we are there. Unfortunately, that concept, has been coopted by a dangerous agenda. If all of the adults in authority, in/out of school setting, fostered the respect for individual rights and ideals, instead of special collective interests, it would greatly bridge disdain. I was pregnant, missed prom and I honestly could care less. Same wonderful man, 4 children, 10 grandchildren- that's what my life has been about and I'm looking forward, gratefully, as close as I can get to another 40 years!

The tribe is America, that's the only one that matters. To be honest, the only people who care who you're having sex with and in what fashion are you and your friends. That's it. The rest of the country, world and universe doesn't know you, doesn't think about you and doesn't give a shit about you or what you do with your genitals. Your time in school, in the scope of life, is a fart in the wind. Further, to pass judgement of adult society as a whole based on your experience with a small group of adolescent children and their actions is pretty narrow-minded. These days, there is no oppression. It's like talking to someone from California or New York, you don't even have to ask because they'll tell you every 5 minutes. Who you fuck or who fucks you is not your identity. What you contribute to society is. If everyone thought like this, the world would be a better place, and less sex crazed.

@@cosodesign8953 I'm gay, and have dealt with drag queens. They are adult entertainers who have zero business in classrooms. @ivan_says_hi2 ай бұрын
@@saytr4maybe the numbers aren't exact and it depends on what test you are doing for what cancer etc. In general what he said was correct. If you give a test with a false pos rate of 1% (just for clean round numbers) to 7 billion people a year that will give you 70 million false positives a year. Assuming the average person lives for 70 years, then something 70% of people are statistically expected to receive a false pos diagnosis at least 1 time in their life, a not negligible percentage of people will receive 2 or more false pos in their lifetime. If the actual incidence of cancer in a population is less than 10 million per year than you can see how you would have waaaaay more false positives than true cases per year. People would be panicking for no reason, plus you can only imagine how many "friends uncles" will have magically cured their false positive cancer by doing strange old wives tails like drinking goat piss. It would be an actual disaster if people stopped fearing cancer because of this.
