Born in 67'. We had a loaded rifle behind the front door of our house. None of us kids even considered taking that gun and using it on people who wronged us. We were taught from an early age what guns are and aren't for. What they aren't for is settling disputes. They're for protecting you and your's.

Actually, that's where you are wrong. In countries with heavy gun laws. If you get caught with an illegal gun. You go to prison for 5 years. So a lot of criminals rather not get caught with them since the penalty is so high. Also, it becomes really hard to find a gun to buy on the black market. Because the underground gun dealers have to be extremely careful. Because the penalty for getting caught selling guns illegally is 25 years. So what happens is if you manage to find a gun for sale. It will be $5000. So most petty criminals can't even afford that. ANd the one criminals who do carry are high rank drug dealers. For protection during deals. No civilians get killed by those type of guys. Trust me. I've been in that world my entire life.
@dougrogers8358 ай бұрын

I agree with everything he's saying 100%. Besides informed responsible citizens having weapons on them to protect those who don't, we need parents that will sit down and have actual conversations with their kids. Have relationships with their kids. Tell their troubled kids "it's ok if you need help. There are ways we can help you not feel like this. You don't have to take your frustrations and mental health issues out on other people. Let's work together." But not enough parents, teachers, therapists, friends are willing to hold people accountable. They'd rather bury their head in the sand and pretend everything is fine, but everything is not fine!

America is the most controlled countrie in the western world, you have dozens of different police agencies, that is unheard of in the western world, other countries have 1 max 2 police agencies. and the American government have created so many police agencies so they can have total control over the American people, and on top of that you have two political parties system,= communism. Other western countries have 12 to 16 different political parties, and that is freedom and real democracy. . Two years ago they have overthrown the legitimate president of USA, that is happening only in the third world countries. And you really think that you have a freedom?

@johnrobinson3575 жыл бұрын
Do not take this the wrong way - OK. Law abiding and criminal should not be used in the same sentence, without notations. If you have tendencies that lean towards violent actions - with or without a firearm you have no " right " to carry a firearm - of any kind. Killing of any type is a crime. period. All things that live have the right to do so without interference. Even bugs. Humans are a different species, they feel they are at the top of the chain. WE are not. If you are a " crook " with a firearm you need to be disarmed - NOT killed. I have a permit to carry concealed, and have for almost 30 years. I can count on 2 hands how many times i have used that - privilege on 2 hands. Why ? what is the point? If you do not place yourself in a situation of danger, why do you need to carry a firearm ? If you look for trouble you will find it. Granted, sometimes it just finds you without looking -= but damn few times. If it's that bad where you live - move. A gun will not fix it. To the point : Why do i have guns ? i like putting holes in paper at long distances, or hitting chunks of metal at distances. Firearms and air rifles are " sport " to me, like playing pool or darts. Not for killing of anything except time. However i am not a fool. I do know that there are those whom would kill me or members of my family, to obtain that which i own. If i am faced with a firearm with bad intent towards myself or a member of my family, what would you have me do? I will neutralize the threat without causing death. All i want is it to stop. I have NO desire to KILL. Let the law deal with you - I am not judge or executioner and i will NOT perform that function in ANY capacity. You shall be judged by your peers NOT me. Does that make any sense to you? It should. Forgive my rambles.......

Instead, I learn formulas and how to plug numbers into those formulas. It really pisses me off because there is literally a calculator that does it for you. Your teacher let’s you have a cheat sheet, therefore, it’s not like you ever remember any of the shit you learn for the test. College is a scheme for the government to take your money and for jobs to “see if you have mental discipline & can complete “tasks.” Shit the first two years of college was just a review of what you learn in high school.
