Rico reminds me of Wladimir Klitschko in so many ways - he's a big man, but always in great shape, fights smart, has great technique, is being perceived as boring by people who don't understand the sport. He's also very well spoken, polite, respectful, straight up guy, no scandals, trash talking, failed drug tests, fights outside the ring, etc.

Amazing to see the mentality behind Rico. Everything is thought out clearly, mentally and even spiritually.

Not that you're going to read this but, thank you Joe! As someone who is on a path to become a Sport and Performance Psychologist this was awesome. People can train their bodies day and night, but what about your mind? The way I like to think about it is what is the point of having a nice beautiful muscle car, with a messed up engine? Please post more about Sport Psychology and Performance Psychology. Hit me up!

@@cockzilla13 as someone who also has a deep interest in psychology, I understand that hate stems massively from insecurity, if you’re acting from a place of hate, it says more about you than it does the other person, so I’d suggest you take a good, hard look at yourself and try to overcome those insecurities as I feel sorry for people like you that have nothing better to do than to spread hate and negativity, I wish to help mentally disadvantaged people like you overcome your deep rooted insecurities, perhaps you’ll see the light someday, but certainly not from me 🙌🏼

Joe Rogan for Man of the Century! This guy can relate to badass meathead fighters(the best on earth) and then have deep conversations with critical thinking geniuses. He is himself a comedian, a badass, a Hunter, an existential philosopher... Etc, etc. You can't sum him up with labels, but this guy is Man in every sense of the word. His interviews help make the world a better place; they provoke thought, motivate and encourage men to be better physically and mentally. If one man can help millions evolve or at the very least teach them to live up to their potential - He should be given the recognition he deserves.
@zeppkfw4 жыл бұрын
He just asks questions, listens to them, understands and processes the topics they talk about, sums it all up and gives his own understanding and what he thinks about it. Why he's so unique is that most people just wanna talk and not emphasize on listening and asking questions.
@theautodan70954 жыл бұрын
@@zeppkfw Very unique. He reallys cares about the topics and his well rounded experience and insight brings a lot to the conversations. It helps that he can say how he really feels most of the time instead of giving a PC answer/response or saying nothing and going to the next topic the way reporters do and in turn the interviews get deeper and there's so much more to hear and really learn.

Of course I feel it’s great to help someone mentally because yes being strong is important in most sports industry. But your mentality can be what makes or breaks a person like having a moment of doubt, and letting it build and feed inside you, like if you’re starting to lose a little and think “man this guys really good I don’t know if I can win” then you already lost. Now if you say “man this guy is really good I gotta kick this shit up a notch, I’m better than this PUSH!” You are now in the right mentality to potentially win.

Hello. Inquiring about a sports psychology question. If your heart rate is low during a high stake situation, like at the end of tied basketball game and you are up to shoot free throws, does that mean that you're confident? Thank you.
@sitnok3820 Жыл бұрын
@@Ash-ly9sz it doesn’t necessarily mean you are confident, it could just mean that you have a low level of cognitive anxiety in this high pressured situation. If you don’t have negative thoughts about the moment then your heart rate doesn’t have to be high, but that doesn’t mean you are confident either.
