The Suffering the kickboxing super heavyweight champion since about 2013. 20 stone of muscle and was so big at 16 he was fighting vs full grown men and beating them. Also unbeaten in MMA, won his only fight by TKO in round 1. If you wanna see a real animal watch Badr Hari, Badr Hari is rematching this guy in December I think

You can find interviews with him conducted at the beginning of his career, where he is holding forth on the boxing styles of fighters who had fought 70 years earlier. He had access (through Cus D'Amato) to a vast library of film of all the greats. He drew much of his style from one of those greats: Jack Dempsey.

I watched his fight against Jamal, the way he withstood Jamal's punches early in the fight was unbelievable, He's the embodiment of the perfect athlete to ever grace earth. I think he can rock every top tier heavyweight UFC fighter's ass easily.

I'm a Rico super fan but kickboxing and MMA are not the same thing. Rico has never trained wrestling/grappling/BJJ so he would not be very successful in the UFC.

Like chess for amateurs, you dont try to figure out your opponents next move, you calculate their reach and their timing, once you can read it, now you set him up... you dont guess your opponents move, you choose their next move, throw a right hook to bait him, you know how and when hes going to counter, and have your next move ready..

I think Rico takes too much damage to transition to mma successfully. Having said that, DC said that nobody ever hit him as hard as Rico Verhoeven during a spar... so if Rico lands on any of these mma guys they likely go down as well. It’s more of a lottery
