It is way under power, the engines has 4k-6K rpm and the car does not go at all. It is so different from my E90 N54 335I.

Manual transmission is different. Mine has 160k kilometers, new water pump thermostat radiator, oil filters etc changed in due time ( less than 10k kilometers ) and I personally chose to delete vanos and replace the ECU software with one that was producing more torque but same hp. It was a BIMMER shop where I deleted vanos and it was them who recommended me to do so. Mine’s a n52 2.5L xDrive. Car runs great. It’s not an animal by any means but I still get 0-60mph in around 6.5s which is not bad. Car shines in rev sounds and gear dropping imo

@AlexandruNic Manuel is a different animal for N52. I think that is the perfect balance for around 200-240 hp car to have a manual. Anything more than that just get auto. I test drove the N54 manual, it is slower than tune auto.

@@imanwan2861 I do have the same feeling. I own 3 MOT stations in Bucharest and I did test a couple N52 with automatic transmission as well as N47 variants. N47 automatic feels more responsive than N52 automatic for whatever reason. I rev mine pretty high to be honest and I wouldn’t be able to drive it like that if it was automatic, not even in sports. Yet the engine is very reliable and apart from oil leaks and water pumps I never worried about anything.

whats the city fuel consumption ? Also i am thinking of getting 2.5 but with XI, it is automatic but still for winter much better@@AlexandruNic

@@DjordjeSrpski mine’s a 325xi N52 - Bucharest is busy as Paris so mine consumes around 19L/100KM on a normal driving, if I drive it “sportly” it goes around 21-22. Long normal drive 10L/100km, long sporty drive 13.5L/100km . Hope this helps you mate!
