I never heard that poem at the end. It made me cry. My father was working construction at the Philadelphia airport when Mohammed Ali stepped off the plane. My dad called," Hey Champ can I get your autograph?". Mohammed Ali was very nice to my father and even had a personal conversation with the champ. For the rest of my father's life he loved Mohammed Ali. In my house Mohammed Ali was far and away above all other celebrities. My father is gone now but the family still loves Mohammed Ali.

No doubt. There will NEVER be another Ali in our lifetime. Hell, there probably won't be another Ali in the next 5 generations lifetimes. Especially in this day and age, and the generations that come up in this type of society. I don't ever foresee society going in the other direction like it was back 50-60 years ago. In many ways that's a good thing, but in many other ways, it's terribly unfortunate. In those days, people looked up to people like this, who lived their lives under their strict beliefs and did not waver for anything or anybody. Now a days, people have seemingly lost their balls for lack of better term. People will change up and flip the script from scenario to scenario to suit them best in that very moment. Ali believed what he believed and stood for what he believed, and no amount of money or accolades was going to change that. Those types of people are as good as extinct in this world of instant gratification and greed.

I met him by chance on the steps of a hotel in Hollywood in 2002. He was physically robust but obviously becoming incapacitated by his illness. My great hero standing in front of me. He saw me approach and smiled warmly, with his intense, deeply intelligent eyes. I enjoyed a long handshake and felt the power and goodness of the man. We said little, reading each other. He raised his fists in that cliche boxing pose and we said goodbye. Unforgettable.

Vladimir Sugmeov IQ tests mean nothing. I have taken 5 with results all varying from 131 down to 112. You can train for them and achieve a higher score and on the flip side you can have a good mind for solving puzzles but have no intelligence for reading body language. It is pretty pointless. Ali is smart, no question.
@kirklandau28264 жыл бұрын
@@charliewalker9443 Random "IQ tests" on the internet don't count. Just because someone made up a test on the internet and called it an "IQ test" doesn't mean it is one. A true IQ test is designed by a qualified expert in psychometrics and is rigorously statistically normed using a sufficiently sized sample pool. A lot of online tests just arbitrarily assign numbers to the results, which indeed means nothing. A real IQ test gives a number that has a very specific meaning - it indicates statistically what percentage of the population can match your performance on the test, which is designed to measure general cognitive abilities like pattern recognition, logic, problem solving, verbal relations, spatial visualization, memory function, etc. You also can't train for the test unless you somehow know the specific type of problems on it, and even then there are usually a wide variety of problems, some of which can't really be trained for much anyways (and the type of problems varies based on which IQ test you take). You can train all you want but it's not going to make a big difference on your results on a real IQ test.

Powerful leader, lead from the front, with words, with action, without fear because he knew himself and knew his people and knew his enemy. Deliberate and powerful.
The charisma oozing from this man must have been something to behold. Here was a man who realised himself as soul inside a shell, that we are not our bodies, that we can be whatever we want, win in whatever round we choose and become victorious in the most doubtful of times - all we have to do is say it how we want it, and the physical aspects/events/circumstances will follow accordingly. A god of himself. My hero.

Rah Hannan ... I wish G.O.A.T doesn't mean GOAT (such a kind of animal).. Cause Mohammad Ali is THE CHAMP of his religion (ISLAM) & the country (USA).. the Champion on standing of the human rights.. no matter of skin colour/ethnics, religion, social background and soon.. and soon.. he is the humanist that so smart dn religious.. May Allah Grant him Jannah,, aameen yaa Rabbal'alamiin.. 🤲🕌🙏 #love you Champ...!!! 💞🌸🍃 #I am writing from Indonesia...
