I grew up with so many problems that sometimes I just want to give up, but I tell myself, "I have so many things I still want to do in this world before I leave. I trust in God. Not as wholeheartedly as I should, but I do trust him. I try to keep my faith up, but the past always seems to creep up on me. I can't seem to just let it go. I've been hurt too much. But I'm trying. Everyday I try to wake up with a good attitude, but something or someone always seem to mess that up for me. Amen.I became homeless due to a domestic abuse situation. I was at a refuge then a camper 3 months no electric nothing. Generator hooked up had to pan handle gas for generator to go I the well to get the pump going for water. I prayed ,I learned a valuable lesson and God made cur instances better than ever. Amen

Currently I am in a place where I have no friends, my mother is sick (she had brain tumor surgery, her left eye cannot see for now, and is currently recuperating) , and I'm struggling to catch up with my studies in college. It is definitely painful, but I can definitely see how through such times, I get to focus on dealing with issues God have bring to light years ago (but never ended up fixing/dealing with it). I now learn to thank God for all the problems I am facing, as it shows that God wants to change me for a glorious plan that God has for me in my future. I know there are kids like me that might have no friends, maybe betrayed by friends, going through health issues (or your loved ones are). This is the time to get closer to God and see how He will provide for you once you trust to rely solely on Him. God bless us!

This message so cheered me. Been saved close to 40 years. It was tough because I had been in the occult. God reached down on Yom Kippur 1985 and pulled me into His family. Friends said anyone who had been bad as I was, could not possibly get saved. I went through many moments, years of deliverance. I tried to prove I could make Jesus quit loving me: a vision of Him on a cross, lying on his back on the ground. I was hitting the nail in his hands with a rock. Every time I struck Him, he said, I love you. The love tore through all defenses and walls. I was so happy and totally dependent on Him. I went to Church and started to learn the Holy Spirit was my helper. I was so joyous!! I wanted everyone to get saved. Joined street ministry; did everything wrong lol. At home later I was so deflated. The Lord said in my spirit, « Are you done doing it your way? » I said Yes Lord!!” Life began to make sense and it was very sweet. He took me through spiritual babyhood to maturity. Years later He said Hide. I didn’t understand then. He showed me many things that our nation would go through. I prayed, studied and praised. I pray for nations, leaders. He told us to. And then there was deep deep silence. I missed the conversations huge. So I decided to talk to Him anyway. I’m a chatterbox. I heard a song by John Michael Talbot, the Troubadour of the Great King. I feel that way sometimes. The power of clinging to Jesus is POWERFUL. Silence can be sweeter than anything you can imagine. I miss street ministry. No greater feeling than leading people to desire a deeper walk with God. If your world is silent, fill the emptiness with conversation. Pray for people you chatted with.
