We all are students of the game!
Joel has butchered 100’s (yes literally 100’s) of elk. Last year 20 alone. He volunteers as a contractor for a couple of entities that have private elk herds. He’s responsible for harvesting and processing the elk on sight. So it’s safe to say the guy knows the anatomy.
Myself, I’ve had some reps in the field and together we’re just sharing what we’ve learned - often times the hard way.
