Texas BBQ is the best bbq! Today we are at Marley Meats in Lubbock Texas trying their huge bbq challenge! This Texas bbq challenge consisted of 6lb of meats (ribs, burnt ends, sausage, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, smoked bologna) plus three 1lb sides and a banana pudding for dessert. With only 30 minutes to complete this challenge, can we get the $140 meal for free?

Hey Joel, I gotta say imma big fan. I saw u come into salt lick on Friday. I was working as a cutter that day and I did cut ur meat and did all ur refills. I would have gone up to you and introduced myself but it is against our work policy unless the customer allows it. For their safety and privacy. But I’m wondering if that video is going to drop anytime cause I’m looking forward to that!!!

When the sides look as good as the main course, you know you're in for a good one. Quality. Even dessert! I love a coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, potato salad...any of those sides would be appreciated by myself. It was amazing to see how quickly you got that done. I looked at the clock and you were only at 12 minutes with most of it done! GREAT!

Love love love Marley Meats!!!! I always get burnt ends, the spicy sausages, raider taters, and the pudding. So delicious. My husband loves the brisket and the beans. When they come to Plainview we always have supper from them. But Joel being so excited God made cows almost had me laughing off my chair. That was the best!! 🐄 🍖 🥩 🍨

And he does have a super cute fiance, so life seems to be working out okay for the big Missouri guy. And it makes me happy, because he's a nice guy. I lived right outside Lubbock for a long time. There’s nothing like west Texas.. I was born and spent so much time in Philly but was raised in Charleston. I love my southern states but I lost my heart in Texas. I hope to move back soon. Nothing but love for the lone star state!

Favorite sides are potato salad, good baked beans(hickory smoked, brown sugar, mustard, tomato sauce), green beans or peas&carrots, smoked corn, plus no Mayo Cole slaw. Brisket is king. Love pickles too.

We Texans aren't known for pulled pork. We're known for brisket, beef and pork ribs, sausage and smoked turkey. Sometimes smoked chicken. Burnt ends and pulled pork aren't really bbq items in Texas originally.

I notice the flies left you alone after a short while. They didn't want to get inhaled with the rest of the food! Great looking BBQ platter :) BTW my fav side with BBQ is fries (not one of your choices) and potato salad is a close second.
