Dosa is one of the world's best breakfasts, a personal favorite dish, and a meal I am very happy to share with my friends today. Thank you for joining our team as we visit the ancient town of Mysuru, and experience some truly high-energy Indian breakfast!
The amazing flavor journey that IS this trip continues in Mysuru, in the state of Karnataka. My friend Mark has invited our old friend Ebbin to join us for several days of this trip, and along with a great Thailand connection to another friend Giri (who now runs a lovely restaurant HERE in Mysuru!) we are in the perfect place to maximize enjoyment but also knowledge of both Idli, and then Dosa, at the ORIGINAL Mylari Dosa restaurant in downtown Mysuru.
Its an amazing situation finding oneself next to a man who has been cooking in the same place, AT the same fry-top, for almost three decades, in a restaurant that's been in business for NINE decades besides! I am just having a blast here with some amazing tasting Dosa for breakfast, I love the atmosphere and I couldn't be more happy with how these days turned out.
I am sorry for the quality of the sound for this (for all these videos really), I was not prepared for how fun and vibrant, hectic and often chaotic a trip to India can be, I only prepared the basic camera and sound equipment for this one... thank you so much for your patience :) I hope you can still enjoy the videos and forgive for less-than-ideal sound.
