Not doing what they supposed to be doing as parents. I can relate to this. Both my parents deadbeats, foster families treated me horribly. Didn’t realize it until I went to therapy as an adult. We need men and women who make sense and are responsible adults. The past 20 years have been a poopstorm in relation to the “family unit” and in my opinion some schools definitely need a Dr Phil principal or dean.

My cell is an old flip phone with no extras - calls in, calls out - a true "phone" for calling needs. I still walk with my head up, but it is a rare occasion when you can make eye contact with a fellow human. My friends get frustrated with me because I don't have texting capabilities... I much rather take a minute longer to communicate by voice instead of typing back and forth. I don't think we're living differently... we're just still living. It's the rest of the world that has "unplugged" from life and society.
