A guy who played 50 minutes of first team football for Villa. On the other hand, we’ve sold them a young, experienced LB who was vital to a squad that made it to the champions league final, that instantly improves their first 11 for £37.5m No matter how you spin it bro, you can’t say Chelsea have got a good deal out of this

We all thought we're getting Osimhen ond Olise. Blockbuster signings. Lol those days are over as Joey says. We looking to sign the best performing kids who will grow into superstars. Were trying to do what Real Madrid did with Vini Jr. Exactly that but with the whole squad 😭🤐 As a lifelong CFC fan I've decided to just lessen my expectations and just hope for the best. Has nothing to do with that..I've never seen so many knee jerk fans with such loud opinions yet don't pay attention to the details in your face. It was always known that maatsen deal was gon a involve a youth player as a swap deal. Told by fabrizio. Nobody does straight swaps nowadays, as doing it this way shows as more profit under ffp, than just swapping so it shown as 2 seperate sales. We buy the kid for 19 on 8 year deal...2 mil a season under ffp but we get 37.5 profit for maatsen..with the swap only shows as 18 profit. Kellyman will replace datro forfana who was only brought to be sold, which will happen this summer...jus like omari Hutchinson and morreira from benfica... kellymen fits our club profile and plan...which we didn't have the first few months boehly brought the club...or when the government stole the club off our owner and our new owners purchased it 2 weeks into pre season. thats why they panic signed players to replace the ones that left. And are now looking to move them on. Sterling for werner, cucurella for alonso etc.. We have the best scouts in the world in the world and potential doesn't come good in a year. Kellyman isn't the answer or replacement for osihmen or olise in the clubs eyes. both super overrated players anyway imo. Osihmen plays in a dinosaur league, flopped acon...olise spends half the season on a physio table.. we have 2 future balon dor winners coming next season in the same position as olise... Like I said kellyman isn't gon a be a main signing, he'll be no different to the kids we buy n loan out. What players are for sale that are world class that wanna play conference league this summer? Chelsea still looking at players for this season that fit our system, aint their fault olise prefers bayern. He stalled personal contracts waiting for bayern. Our attentions are now on nico williams and johnathon David.

Not even best performing kids. We tried to offload kellyman last season to a championship club for 5 mill and we doubled and his played no more then 5 mins for villa this season . So it's unreal to s villa fans that you lot later 19mill. Thank you for helping with our ffp and now you lot are about to buy duran for 40mill hahaha we have fully just bent Chelsea over and had our way with ya Duran and Kelly man together are worth no more then 15 mill and you lot just played nearly 60mill. One thing I will say about Duran (as a Villa fan), is that he wants to run before he can walk. Very raw and clearly has ability, but absolutely mental, has more yellow cards than goals in small 5 min cameos. It's all well and good wanting to start games, but in absolutely no way is he close to Watkins currently. Not to say he couldn't be, but he cannot expect to be starting to us when we have probably one of the best strikers in the league. Was clear him and Emery didn't get on either, also McGinn said basically that he needs to have some respect and is SOMETIMES a nightmare to have around (I will say, very unprofessional from McGinn imo, but the point stands). On the PSR stuff, there is no way we sell Ramsey now that we have sold Luiz. We have set our academy up to flip players who aren't going to make it in the short term (bought Kellyman for

From a villa fan, im absolutely gutted kellyman is leaving. Firstly hes a 10/ attacking midfielder/second striker, but the kid has bags of potential we were all calling for him to be given more minutes, hes 50/60 million player in the making. All transfers are a risk. He could get injured 1st training session. John Duran is a rough diamond. He reminds me of Drogba, strong, powerful, rocket shot, hold ball up, dribble, skillful, aggressive, just raw talent. Hope we keep him as Watkins can't play every game.

Kellyman is a top prospect. He could easily go on to be a top player. 19mill isn't that much if he fulfils his potential. Look at Cole palmer. Paid 40 but he easy went up to being a 75mill plus player inside just one season.

I think we should hold off and not slander our board with this 19m price tag. I feel like our owners have done it again with this so called “loophole”. I can see them working out a deal with villa to sign Duran for 20-30m instead of the 40-45m that we have been reading everywhere to balance the books.

He definitely was around the first team to a degree that I feel is more that Kellyman... I suppose the wider point is I do feel this guy is not here to play. I agree we don’t need much this summer. Maybe just a striker. And I’ll tell you why. Think of the team that was available for 90% of last season., which basically got us 6th and only 5 points off a CL spot. Ok, remove Thiago Silva ( who wasn’t first choice anyway) and replace with Wesley Fofana and or Toisin. Then heal Enzo‘s hernia and have him at 100% all season, and Caicedo and Palmer up to speed from the first day of the season. Then buy 6 new players. Nkunku, Lavia, Carny, Reece James, Omari Hutchinson and Amdry Santos. If you add in a Jonathan David, that has to be a side that can finish ahead of Liverpool and Villa. And…..please ‘Est-ev-own’ Willian. You even acknowledged my last correction…..but still said it wrong 😂

The highlights I’m seeing are from academy games this is ridiculous, at least carney actually played actual games in PL and looked good before we signed him. wtf is this signing. We don’t have enough loans spots for all of these players and they sure as hell can’t just sit with the first team

This is Crazy or as some have said some kind of accounting trick. When Hudson Odoi was this age he looked like a young Christian Ronaldo look where he is now. This used to be the kind of youth team acquisition that we took a punt on at £500,000. We have a Striker in Mcneilly whose banging in the goals we have Dujon Richards who is a raw talent and there are others and we are losing a promising youth team product Ryan Mcaidoo to Arsenal perhaps because he doesn’t see a pathway. It’s all nonsense and it’s obviously all to do with stockpiling for a multi club operation

Let's be real Kellyman isn't worth 19mil and Maatsen isn't worth 35mil, this is obviously a PSR loophole that both clubs are using to be fine for the end of the month deadline. Problem is Maatsen breaks into villa's team whereas no one knows about Kellyman
