In this New series I will take apart a original but worn Puch Maxi S.
I will try to save as much parts as possible, to keep in original.
The bike won't be blue again. I will spray it in some fancy colours, you'll see that in the later video's.

Year - Unknown
Engine - 2 stroke | 50 cc
Gearbox - 1 speed/gear , centrifugal clutch
Top speed - 55 km/h

You've got the clip for the chain master link on backwards. The open end should be on the trailing edge when the chain is moving its normal direction. The easy way to remember is that if something were rubbing on the chain...would it push the master link off, or tighten it against the pins?

I tried to test the compression on my peugeot lvs 103 by using my impact on the variator side with the motor on the vise and i only got 20psi i dont know if i did it right or the motor will need new rings anyone know if i did the test right? Thank you

gave video man! ik heb even een vraag. in alle 3 de afleveringen van deze puch zie ik dat je smeermiddelen gebruikt als je ze in elkaar zet. welke zijn dat? en ook het middeltje om het motorblok schoon te maken?

Bedankt. Dat zijn gewoon algemene smeermiddelen die voor vele doeleinden inzetbaar zijn.

@@JanDootjes Oke, want ik heb laatst een puch maxi gekocht (opknapper) en het motorblokje zit er van de buitenkant een beetje smerig uit. En heeft lang stilgestaan dus zal aan de binnenkant een beetje vies zijn. Ik moet trouwens wat spulletjes voor de puch kopen. Als ik naar een onderdeel zoek (zoals zuiger) dan krijg ik heel veel verschillende, allemaal voor puch maxi 50cc maar weet niet welke ik moet kopen. heb je tips?

Are you adding 2 stroke oil in minute 6:03 into the engine? i thought that you have to have to mix the oil with the gas. Thanks!

That was, or should have been, Type F transmission fluid. That is what a stock Puch E50 engine uses. Yes, you have to mix 2 stroke oil with the gas. And you should NEVER do it in the tank. It should always be mixed thoroughly in a separate container before being put in the tank.
