Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. Here is a vlog of one of my favourite places in Johannesburg - Joburg Fresh market!! That is the place where I buy fruits and vegetables.

@@viralvlog9943 If you are going to buy at the three big hubs, namely: (i) potato and onion (ii) fruits and (iii) vegetables, you need to get the market’s card into which you load money to pay. To register, you only need certified copy of ID document or passport. But all other surrounding stations like Unity, Mandela and People’s markets as well as Apple Queen Hub require you pay in cash only. I buy 70% of my stuff in these other markets and the rest in the hub(s). All the markets above are on the same property..you just drive around from one station to the other. I hope all these help!

I'm just blown. I tried converting to naira and just couldn't relate 😅 amazing prices. I love dem fresh veggies and peppers - they had me thinking of several possible dishes to make out of them 🙈😍

Wow! I never new that a market such as this exists in Joburg. Thanks for sharing. Please may I know the address or the name so that I can use Google map to locate it.

Hi Blessing. Thanks for stopping by😊. Typical search word on google map are ‘Joburg Fresh Market’ or ‘Joburg Fresh produce market’. It is located at city deep. If you’re going to buy at the hubs (vegetable, fruit, potato and onion hubs), you’ll need to get the market card, load money into it then you pay with it. You only need your ID doc or passport to get the card. But all other sections of the market require cash payment. I hope these help.

If you’d be coming to SA, you can then chat with the farmers about what you want to do and they will be able to guide accordingly.
