I'm blown away. Haven't checked this for a while and can't believe it has so many plays, thank you to much for watching and sharing everyone! :) to answer a couple questions. The first song is by parov stelar, the second is the mighty mighty bosstones. I live in colorado springs co, and indeed I do teach, I run a poi workshop and all skill levels are welcome. Message me on facebook for info. Much love my fellow flow artists!

Jonathan Hepler I've been learning some poi moves. I want to learn every move you've made on this video. Do you have any tutorials?
@confusionrobot7 жыл бұрын
I don't, need to quit slacking in that department

Jonathan Hepler haha great. Well never too late to start, like maybe post one up tomorrow? Haha. who did you learn from?
@confusionrobot7 жыл бұрын
mostly self taught, but I've picked up a lot from my friends here in Colorado, part of having a flow community is we all help one another grow
that's some of the slickest spinning i've seen to date. Love his style

26 inch double loop pair of pro-series cords(ball chain) with medium cathedral wicks. Ball chain is not the most durable, gotta be careful about tugging on orbitals or tangles, I would recommend links if you're worried about them breaking, but I love cathedrals.

@TheMalleableReality11 жыл бұрын
Very talented fire spinner. I can definitely tell that he started with glowsticks. A very wrapped base style with a lot of btb with more flow than tech, doesn't make it any less impressive though. Also, dear people taking the video... remember everything you're saying is being recorded and you sound ridiculous. :P

@BuaBulasty10 жыл бұрын
ok, one question the poi doesn't look new and has some soot/black on it, yet the shirt stays clean when he bounces them of his body HOW? do yu just clean the black with a cloth and that's it? I do not use any cover on my poi heads and I ALWAYS get dirty during training (plus when i practice indoors I make the walls dirty which really annoys my landlord :P)
@confusionrobot10 жыл бұрын
Might just be your wicks. I use twin catherdrals, practice with them all the time, I never get dirty from them.
@Russellbeta10 жыл бұрын
depends on the fuel, white spirit gives less stains but i'm told its less healthy. diesel gives a lot and is also really smokey
@GenericOxygen11 жыл бұрын
Just helpin' out... but it depends on the fuel you use in addition to your wrap skills. Basically at the speed he does it but with the proper fuel.

Parov Stelar - Ragtime Cat ft Lilja Bloom The name of the 1 song ;)
@PierreUsedToPost11 жыл бұрын
Great performance, the one thing I'd like to see is a little more speed variation in his spinning. His style is fast and clean but there is no crescendo. Fast spinning is a good effect when contrasted with slow spinning, more speed variation would make the performance more dynamic and interesting to watch for the entire duration

@Dazzakiteman699 жыл бұрын
I have been doin poi for a long time and im know where near as good as this, you make it look so effortless and easy. i have probably watched this 100 times and still think "how the hell does he pull all these moves together so easily and quickly" ABSOLUTE QUALITY!!!!!! the only reason i think it hasnt got more views is because of the thumbnail picture when you search for it, doesnt look appealing enough as fire poi.

@confusionrobot10 жыл бұрын
I'm using normal pig skin gloves you can find at home improvement stores, though I wouldn't really reccomend them, the top is fabric and they burn up relatively fast.

i spin poi too, and just gotta say, wearing those clothes while the poi are burning is an incredibly unsafe thing to do. i have to say, you do a good job, but you probably dont practice in that suit, lol my only complaint is that its dangerous. GJ
@papabird44256 жыл бұрын
TheHighlorddrakken how do you know it's dangerous? Do you know what his suit is made of? Oh you don't? So STFU.
