At the rehearsal for the rehearsal for the concert "My Valentine", the WDR Funkhausorchester conducted by Josep Vicent played the film music of "Out of Africa" from the film of the same name. John Barry composed the music in an arrangement by Nic Raine.

I loove this theme of the film "Out of Africa", a film with Robert Redford and Meryl Streep. I cry every time I see the film. This is the most beautiful theme I ever heard for a film, it goes perfect with the film which is one of my favorite films ever. Full of passion and beauty. Es majestuoso ver a la orquesta interpretar esta pieza musical de J.Barry. Veiamos la pelicula con mi padre,una de sus preferidas, él amaba la naturaleza,los atardeceres pescando en arroyos,y esperar la noche con un fuego rodeado de sonidos del lugar. Soñaba con hacer cosas como navegar con viento o volar y no llego a cumplir sus anhelos,se fue antes de lo esperado,pero el me contagió las inquietudes y pude hacerlo, por mi y tambien por él,yo se que esta conmigo. Esta musica me transporta a esas aventuras y lugares similares..y su recuerdo. Gracias por la música ❤

I HAVE 2 VERSIONS OF THE OUT OF AFRICA OST ON LP ONE WITH AL JARREAU AND 1 WITHOUT,. DUE TO 1 SIMPLE REASON AND 1 REASON ONLY. A HUGE FAN OF BOTH MR BARRY AND MR JARREAU. MAY GOD REST THEIR SOULS
