I love this guy. He is the most down to earth athlete out there. So humble and such a wonderful role model. I wish more athletes were like him.
@tidefanyankee24285 жыл бұрын
Yep, really humble considering he's the greatest of all time and probably the most dominant athlete in his given sport and has been for decades. Only a handful of people can say they beat him (right handed) but those only happened when he was in his mid to late 40's. He won his first world championship at 18 in 1983.

Check out the video interview of him called "End Game," which is like a continuation of this, 6 years later.

@@tidefanyankee2428 and the fact that he didn't even train like crazy and wasn't juiced like many of the current athletes makes it even more impressive. I explored Armwrestling through to Devon Larrat, but man, John Brzenk is the definitively GOAT!

@@mikehartwich1946 I agree. If anyone ever makes a list of the greatest athletes of all time his name deserves to be on it with people like Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt etc....

John is the ultimate role model. What an incredibly humble human being. He is probably the most dominant person of any sport in any time, yet just acts like one of the guys.

Hello John, if you are reading this, please considering writing a biography. Even a short one is fine. In fact shorter the better. People have the right to know more about one of the greatest athletes in the wold.

Hi Jason Kim, it's me, John Brzenk. This is my fake account so nobody stalks me, so don't tell anyone. Okay I'll think about writing a biography about myself. I'm a little short on money so if you want to send me a few thousand dollars to get my book started I can start as soon as you send me some money. So just send me your checking account number and your debit card # and pin number and I'll go to the bank first thing in the morning. Thanks!🤑

He is absolutely NOT the real John Brzenk , and under No Circumstance should you divulge personal info or send ANY money to this Shyster. Trust me .... Similar comparison. I mean, in the "super match" format, Brzenk didn't lose from 1983 - 2008. At age 50 he's still one of the best in the world. Technique trumps power in this game.
@jrock231010 жыл бұрын
its not close... john is the best of the best of 20 yrs. ruth played w/ and against other men who had second jobs to make ends meet. the men john competes against are full-time pullers & the best of the best at it. w/ all due respect to ruth, he played in a VERY watered down era. to help illustrate, ruth hit fast ball pitchers who topped out in the high 70's, low 80's. now days, talented high school kids can hit low to mid 90's consistently.
@jrock231010 жыл бұрын
***** I don't think it's a matter of wins/losses... everyone loses. I think you're assuming modern technology would have made ruth a more determined/dominant player... if im reading you right? I believe you are who you are. if you're a douchebag who wins the lottery, you don't automatically become classy just because you're rich. you're just a douche w/ a lot of money. in the same way, I don't believe ruth would have been determined much to stay in shape. he was who he was - a man w/ many flaws. I think w/ the more money, the amplified lifestyle, he would just be a crazier version of what he always was. see, I didn't change the person himself. I didn't assume he'd be in better shape. there's no way of knowing that. we do know he lived in excess. and I would argue that there were probably much better athletes in ruths time, he was just more dominant hitter/pitcher. and as we all know, that's more/less hand-eye coordination. besides, we have all seen un-athletic players in modern day MLB - david wells, david ortiz, jim thome, jason giambi, mark mcgwire, etc.... the list can go on forever. the fact that you found one or two people who 'top-end' threw in the 90's illustrates my point. every team nowdays has 6 guys who can do that. to select a handful from the early 1900's makes my case. for every good 90mph pitcher ruth faced, he faced about 20+ who would prob couldn't make a AAA team today. there are outliers in every scenario.
@huntingwolf2010 жыл бұрын
Easily better than Babe Ruth at baseball. This is the most dominant athlete in his sport that has ever existed that we as modern (after 1800) sports fans have ever seen. He might not be in the most athletic sport, but it is a true athletic event, unlike so many things that are just ridiculous. So it isn't basketball or football, but it is a major strength and technique sport, and he's better at it for a longer period of time than even Michael Jordan, Barry Bonds, Bernard Hopkins, etc.. Different sports, but still, I think he's the most dominant athlete in one sport, ever.
@jrock231010 жыл бұрын
GOD JOEY u have to remember that guys in BR day pitched & hit. rarely did u have a guy that did one thing. those guys back then where nowhere NEAR the caliber athletes we have today. the only fat guys that 'just' hit, play in the AL so's to DH. and the one major outlier is prince fielder who is relegated to first base on defense. in short, u can't be fat, lazy, & out of shape anymore in baseball. and I can't stress this enough.... with the exception of about 10 guys.... pitchers back then DID NOT throw gas. some may have thrown hard early in the game, but eventually tapered off as the game went on. for large portion of the game, im sure ruth saw a steady diet (no pun intended) of low to high 80's AT BEST. now days if u throw in the 80's consistently... u don't have a job in the majors; maybe a AAA player.
