He spent most of his career fighting in tournaments where the top prize was $1000-1200..no money meant no steroids in arm wrestling and that lasted as late as 2004...with more money, the incentives changed and you saw different arm wrestlers arrrive on the scene..it became more professional, athletes trained harder and PED usage took off from there.. John has been on TRT since his early 40s.. totally natural before that
