Wow, what a masterpiece this concert is! Hearing all those great tracks, then closing the show with a stunning rendition of "Hallelujah." Cale is an incredible artist...my only request would be to hear his viola work and Hanky Panky Nohow...just one of the all-time greats...

I was there, will never forget it, I've seen JC at least 4 times but this concert was definitely the most memorable one.

@@hermanpeeters1539 I've seen maybe one or two shows out of hundreds in my entire life that were exceptional (a Springsteen show in '84 was one) dates on a given tour. This show by Cale is glorious. The track list and the level of performance is wonderful. You were one lucky Herman to have seen it!

The Fragments album was my introduction to John Cale. 90s in Mean Fiddler in Kentish Town London. Fell in love then. ❤

John Cale has always been my favorite male musician and Laurie Anderson my favorite female musician so, imagine how tripped out I was when she married Lou Reed The love triangle was complete Social media where are you Talk to me Pete Veronesi are you out there

I hand painted his face from the album Fear on a bright yellow t-shirt with black fabric paint but, I left out the nose cause I wasn't sure I could get it right So I go to the Whiskey a go go to see him live and wait for him at the back door So he shows up and saw my shirt and wants to sign it but, no-one has a pen so, we see the show and after someone gave me a magic marker so, I approached his limousine and he gladly signs it with the word nose and an arrow pointing at where it should be

Strange… He claims that The Soul of Carmen Miranda is off of “Wrong Way Up,” it’s actually from “Songs for the Dying”. It’s also notably missing from the album, even the expanded one with outtakes. Shame, as this version is spectacular, and I prefer it over many of the songs that were on the CD!
