John Danaher is widely regarded as one of the foremost minds in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. An instructor at the Renzo Gracie academy in Manhattan, NYC, and a coach to athletes including UFC champions Georges St Pierre and Chris Weidman, and upcoming jiu-jitsu stars such as Garry Tonon and Eddie Cummings, Danaher is considered one of the finest teachers of the art of jiu-jitsu in America today.
In this interview he describes his beginnings and progression in the art of jiu-jitsu, his work in nurturing and developing high-level talent, and his goals for the future.
