You been smoking some bad stuff. That little Cummins is 3 times the engine that came in that deere. He better keep it at 150 or it will grind everything into junk. Now a 5020, that is where a 250hp 6BT would shine.

Tire slip is obvious and too much torque for tranny, final drive etc. Short life of equipment. Agree that up grade to 5020 would be far better for weight, traction, etc.

Uncle Bob had 57? 720deere had 250lb. OMF wheiths then built a frame to hold 3to4 100 lb. Plus wheel weights pulling an A.C. 3 /16 plus add on hydraulic reset ,hooked to rock with (#4)add on and busted the bottom,no Grease fitting s or drilled, tapped, machined for lubricantion

The plow isn't in the ground very deep , the weels in front are only a 1/4 of the way in the dirt

Is stock just pull what they were supposed to pull if running all day within reson just doesn't slow down

A Deere 404 (in a 4430) has more low rpm lugging power ( low rpm, just off of idle) than a 5.9 in a 6125 Agco White. The 404 is under rated. A 5.9 is a horse in a pickup. In a tractor they are efficient, but not a torque monster by any means.

When I plowing was running 1600rpm 5th gear with a lot to spare was about 6 psi boost and can go to 32psi ,has very good torque the way the engine is setup, is fun to drive

Why would you replace a 404 jd with a 360ci cummins let me know how it works out 10000 hours later the 404 will still be running

Old engine had 3 holes in the block ,and I had 5.9 to put in it. The 5.9 is a good engine have other ones that have a lot of hours on them.
