I have another video, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZ57p8agu8-zkp8.html, that kind of made me get the 1023E. I love the super Garden Tractor segment, but Deere has pushed with out. My 1023E was $11,000 with loader brand new, add the 54" deck and Mulch kit and I was $13,300, I couldn't get a X758 for that and that was without a rear PTO, 3 pth and loader. So yeah,, in a way Deere forced me into the SCUT market. But I still own a few Deere L&G because they are still cool.

The one series is basically the new garden tractor of the past.

@@jbmortensen Yes, in a way with the 1 series, there's no need for the old Super GT's, but people still buy them I guess because the 1 series are quite a bit heavier than the X700 series. There dimensions are physically similar though 55" versus 57" wheelbase, etc etc

With a lot of patience, luck and a fair bit of money. Be checking Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and any other site that may list ag or lawn equipment. You can also check out CTC Loaders. They are an aftermarket supplier that makes loaders that are very compatiable with the above mentioned tractors and are simialr to the 40 and 45's. They are pricey, but honestly, they aren't any more than a used FEL unless you find a screaming deal and those are VERY few and far between. They come with a lifetime warranty, but on the flip side, I have heard their customer service isn't super, but I don't have any direct experience with them. I only mention them because finding a 40 or 45 is super tough to do and they are premium prices right now. Thanks for watching, I hope that helps.

It was worth it for me. I mowed with my 445 as well. Also once I had the loader, I kept finding uses for it that I didn't even know existed, ripping fence posts out of the ground, lifting and transporting stuff, making other things I used to do with my body easier. Certainly it won't be for everyone. I found the loader very capable, but there may be a time here or there that you're gonna be wishing you had 4X4 and maybe a low range. I didn't know that though until I got the 1023E and used it in dirt and gravel. The 445/40 did fine and usually everything I asked of it. I will say I can ask a lot more out of the 1023E with the low range and 4X4. But it was also a lot more expensive than a 445 and 40 FEL. But yes, you can do some digging, but remember a loader isn't really a digging tool, other than scraping the surface. Thanks for watching.

@@FloridaDeere Where'did u get the belt for your pants? I got one just like it. One time I splurged in an emergency and made one out of electrical wire. Little more than I wanted to spend at the time but it worked great

I used two little shims so it upped the pressure from 1000psi to 1150psi. They make a large and a small shim, or I should say thick and thin. Allegedly you can jack the pressure up to 1500psi, but no need to get crazy, plus, lifting additional weight over a certain would create a requirement for more ballast, stress more parts and so on and so forth. @@FloridaDeere It's the rod that goes over the pressure relief valve.

@@billmccarthy1581 Yes that is a different rod than stock because it is much taller. You know since it has to go over the relief valve, which is crazy tall. I hope that helps. If you look at the video at 1:52, you can see a good shot of the rod and tall relief valve. It's about 2" taller.

@@freeman48083 I do not, but I did research it a little, you may have come upon the same info. It appears it used to be AM121248, but on Deere sites, it says NLA and transfers to MIA884863, which is a kit. The valve you will need, as well as the new rod that goes across the transmission relief valves for the free wheeling function. I think previously they were about $300 and change together, but now it seems that kit is $463. But I imagine it includes everything. I would go into a John Deere dealer and hit up the parts person, they should be able to help you with that. If not let me know, we have good parts people here.
