Hello you have to drive without the clutch, it is still best if you turn on the orange buttons labeled TMS and the gas pedal next to them. Then you regulate the speed with the accelerator and only have to tap the joystick once to tell it in which direction you want to go. Greetings from Germany

In my opinion, the best way for driving a fendt vario is in the foot pedal mode, is nearly same as driving your pickup with automatic transmission! In the field you use the cruise control. Fendt driving is so easy and comfortable when you do it the right way.

When you get used to how it works it's actually very clever design, and like i said before try using pedal mode with tms you wil control your speed with your foot the tractor management system (tms) wil control the rpm completely. Have a great day Laura

Hi Laura, some small guide lines. Start the Fendt with clutch in. Make sure the orange button with TMS on it on the right console is lid up. Next to it is a pedal symbol, make sure that one lights up also. Then grab the main joystick and push the small ''activation'' button on the back with your finger, whilest doing that push the joystick to the front. The green arrow on the dashboard turns on. Now just release the handbrake and give it some (gass), -->push in accelerator pedal. You've got your self a automatic now, when you want to change directions, just grab the main joystick push the activation button with your finger and give the joystick a small tap to the left. This will change the direction, the tractor will slow down and the arrow on the dashboard changes direction. Push in the accelerator pedal and away you go. Hope it helps, these tractors drive SO easy and very smooth. And that little ''Nob'' is a multifunction joystick. Left to right and up and down are the blue and yellow colored hydraulics and the 3 and 4 mean aditional function for a frontloader. The buttons sent positive 12v to a dedicated pin in a plug in the wiring harnes.

Frohe Ostern ;-)!

On the Fendt, there's a Button with the Letter N on the Right Armrest to put it in Neutral. If you want to drive it, Start engine, let the parking brake go , on the left side of the steering wheel is a little orange switch, that's for putting it in forward/reverse, then you just have to carefully press the accelerator pedal and it drives in the selected direction🙈

Love both John Deere and fendt. My 1975 Oliver 2255 is simple, get in turn Key start engine ,push clutch, put in gear, 3 point up or down, hydraulic up or down, drive away. Does require skill to got as strait as the gps controlled tractors. First learned to drive a 1942 international Model M. Cost 1400$ new, still have it. Love to see the field test on new tractor, nice to see young farmers learning to work.

I have to say when you hop in a Fendt for the first time you feel like your in a rocket ship. But as soon as you get used to it it can be really handy. But it if you want to use the tractors full potential you have to run it like every day for a year. If you never even have sat in a Fendt before it is hard to hop in and drive away, but if you know how to put it in gear it is relatively easy. Nice Video. Greetings from Germany.😂👍🏻🇩🇪

Sooo... finding a pound of dirt inside your vent duct might suggest cutting your service hours down to at least half of what the manual says. Those filters can be reused, though - if you clean it quite carefully from the inside with compressed air. Just make sure to inspect the filtre for holes as you go along.

I drive Fendt tractors almost every day. You should try pedal mode. That means you don't need to use joystick when you are driving. It's that orange button with pedal symbol on it. And also you can adjust sensitivity of gas pedal. I prefer that over driving with joystick. And to put it in neutral you just click the N button and that's it. For lite ground cultivation I recommend use 3rd. sensitivity. First and second are for jobs that require high RPM but low speed. Fourth is for transportation jobs. Great video by the way! 😉

Yeah, after the tractor stops, the transmission is in active standstill. If you activate the hand brake, the tractor change in neutral automatically. The other way, before you dislock the hand brake, select for- or backward direction. Then the tractor is automatically in the active standstill and don't move without pressing the pedal or the Joystick
