John Deere LA115 Mower Maintenance and fixes using the Mini Lathe
Amateur video work and amateur hobby machinist. Videos of me working on various projects in the workshop and around the home. Work using my Vevor MX400 Mini Lathe and Precision Matthews PM-25MV Benchtop Milling Machine.

I am a retired mechanic and that old oil filter was installed without oiling the O-ring on the filter like you did

I was taught early on from my Dad and Uncle's, "Never pay someone to fix something you can do yourself" My Dad showed me how to change my oil once and this was one of the steps, to oil up the oil filter o-ring. I makes sense to me but it didn't dawn on me that is why the filter was so difficult to remove. Good to know. Thanks.

Gotta keep the equipment maintained. I know this wasnt the typical machining video but my workshop is for anything that needs done. This just needed to get done and I wanted to share it as well. Thanks,

Hi Deez, I think what I would have done with those front wheels is to make up some new bronze bearings those bearings they put into those wheels are shit, anyway good job,👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks, I agree with you. These wheels are not right for this mower. I will have to revisit these plastic bearings. The wheels are floppy as hell. Thanks for the feedback. Agree with you.

:-) I know this video won't draw a lot of newcomers or eve appeal to many subscribers but its that time of year and I like to share what I'm working on in my workshop and spring time is busy time to get ready for the summer.
